Even Nicolas, the man who hardly ever sleeps, snored, his back turned towards you. His shoulders rose with his breath and you admired the wide broadness of his back. His tanned skin so smooth you were tempted to run your fingers lightly across said back. You refrained though knowing Nicolas was such a light sleeper so you turned over looking at the ceiling while willing yourself to fall asleep. Moments passed and the tick of the clock was driving you insane. You just wanted to sleep. Was that too much to ask? Biting your lip you rolled back over to look at Nicolas. Temptation won making you reach out towards the tattoo spanning across his beautiful shoulders. Your first finger brush had no affect on the sleeping Twilight. Your second had him nuzzling deeper into the worn pillow with a grumble. Your third and he grabbed your wrist.
"SLeeP," he mumbled. You slipped from his grip to lean over his form so he could watch your lips.
"I can't," you whined.

Kissing his collarbone you relaxed everything that was bothering you instantly melting away. While you had been fighting sleep all night it took mere moments of Nicolas' safe embrace that had you out like a light. Waiting until your breathing eased letting him know that you were finally in a deep sleep did Nicolas go back to sleep.
