Never intentionally cause a system to switch without their explicit permission.

It is such a massive violation of trust and privacy, while also being a slap in the face to the person who was fronting before the switch. It is not difficult to just simply say “I need to talk to [alter] when they have a chance,” or to just be okay with whoever is fronting even if they might not be the person you enjoy talking to the most.

Even if your intentions are not malicious, it is still a malicious action. Please treat systems with respect.
