Hello! I believe we never really got to explain how we lost the blog for a long period of time, and we apologize. We know how so many people looked to this blog and were saddened when it got shut down, so we think you deserve an explanation of what happened.
The primary account that this blog is linked to got deactivated by one of the admins so we lost the blog! We appealed countless of times but to no avail. So we opened another one, and tried reuploading every single fic we posted on here onto the new one. But we couldn’t sustain it, and there is nobody to blame for that; because (1) Although we have a number of admins on this account, most admins aren’t as active as they were anymore, and (2) it’s so difficult to build up something from scratch. this is a chanbaek fic archive of around 5k fics; even if we wanted to reupload every single fic, we just couldn’t. Not to mention all the answered questions + layout of the blog + assorting tags, etc.
But I believe that admin had reactivated or tumblr decided to give us the blog back after countless appeals, and so, we got baekyeol-fics back! Apparently the blog was back for a while (around mid-June?) but I only noticed in the past few days! I asked permission from the other admins if I could continue posting and they gave me their blessing. <3
I hope you all understand that we aren’t posting as much as we used to because all the other admins are busy with their lives (and that’s perfectly understandable), and I believe around 2 (??) left. So now, it’s currently just me who’s active on here and posting! (dw they still love chanbaek just as much as they used to).
So please be patient with me, I’m already studying in uni right now so I don’t have as much free time as I used to :(( But I’ll try to update as much as I can!!
Complete unrelated side note since a lot of people asked: Unless I put broken!chanbaek/no happy ending/or any other tags that mean the same thing, then that fic has a happy ending (unless it’s complete then I cannot know that yet)!
I don’t quite remember anymore how we used to tag back then (like explicitly including “happy ending” if the fic had a happy ending), but iirc, we only put broken!chanbaek/no happy ending/etc. to indicate broken forever!chanbaek. So most likely, the older posted fics with “broken!chanbaek/no happy ending/etc.” tags are the only ones with broken forever!chanbaek. The rest are happy endings!
Thank you for all your support throughout these years despite us going away for a while! We hope you still continue supporting us, chanbaek, and the authors of all these lovely fics!!
