Just cried through my 3rd Florence and the Machine concert. She is everything to me and each time she smiled on stage I felt my bones melt, but most importantly, she sung 'Never Let Me Go' which she hasn't sung on tour for 10 years. When she explained why she was ready to sing it now, she said something like, "When I was young and very drunk, I poured all this shame into my songs and that made them hard to sing... What I didn't realise was that, for 15 years, I was giving those feelings to you to hold until I was ready to face them...Thank you for keeping this song safe in your hearts until I was ready to sing it again."
