Islam is a cult

1. Opposed to critical thinking

Allah/Muhammad is the ultimate authority, he is always right, you cannot criticise him at all (or you're not muslim).

2. Isolating members

Muslims should stay with each other, marry each other, befriend each other, love each other. It is discouraged to be friends with non muslims (muslims don't really respect that most of the time). And they watch each other to keep each other in the cult. And the worst is, they cannot leave. Ex muslims are presecuted, murdered in muslim countries and non muslim countries, ostracised, disowned by their families.

3. The leader is the ultimate authority

You should love Allah and Muhammad more than your mother, father, children, brother, wife, husband. Allah matters more than your own family.

4. Chantage

Muslims live under the constant threat of hell. Eternal torture. And non muslims are condamned to hell by default. Muslims are hold by guilt and chantage. It they don't follow compulsory rules (such as praying) they are under the threat of hell.

I just want you all to know that ending friendships or relationships with men due to their porn use is a 100% reasonable reaction. You are not being extreme, you are not being overemotional, and you are not being irrational for not wanting to associate with men who watch porn. You don’t have to accept it as okay just because so many men do it. The truth is it’s utterly contemptible that women are told to accept that the men in their lives get off to the rape and brutalisation of women, and by extension to accept that sexual violence against women is an inevitable part of life because men need to commit and watch it for their enjoyment. Men have been so successful at mainstreaming and normalising porn that even most women would find porn use a bizarre grounds upon which to cut off ties with a male partner or male friend. Porn should not be normal. You can have a zero tolerance policy for porn use in your friendships and relationships, and it does not mean you’re overzealous; it means you’re empathetic.
