i have a problem with people defending male kids being misogynistic pieces of shit. i was barely 9 when i got called a whore by a classmate. i was in middle school when crusty boys were groping and harassing my female classmates and i was 13 when another classmate of mine looked at my pigtails and told me that "only pornstars and sluts wear those" in front of my friends. do y'all think male socialization starts at 15 or what?

I would like to spread awareness about something important to me

Never tag a post with flashing lights/strobe lights with as “epilepsy” or “seizure”

We use that tag to talk to each other, to rant about our seizures, to get updates on whats going on in the medical world.

Anything with the word “epilepsy” or “seizure” will get thrown into that tag.

“Epilepsy warning” gets thrown into the “epilepsy” tag.

You may think you are doing something good by tagging strobe lights as “tw: seizure” but chances are you just gave someone a seizure.

Please, please, P L E A S E tag your strobe lights/flashing lights as:

“flashing lights tw” or “flashing gif tw”

that’s what we use to blacklist posts with strobe lights in them.

Anyone can have a seizure at any point in your life.

There are people out there that don’t know they are photosensitive. You can go 50 years and not know you are photosensitive.

please PLEASE do not use the epilepsy or seizure tag to tag your flashing lights/strobe lights.

If males truly viewed this type of work why are there so few of them in it? If it was truly empowering it would be harder for women to get into. If it was beneficial for women then why is it connected to violence against us? If it’s so empowering why was a girl killed for saying no? If it’s real consent why do they need money to even push themselves to be fucked by them? It’s empowering to have to dissociate while lying under some disgusting slob twice her age? It’s empowering having to deal with rough clientele and not be able to go to the police or she will he the one arrested?

Pornography and prostitution are paid rape.

It just sucks cause I know that whenever I see a picture of burqa clad women or even headlines about forced marriages it's so often accompanied by some sarcastic trans related perspective. Don't get me wrong, I'm every bit as fed up with TRAs as the next "terf", but I can't help but think there's a time and place for everything, and this is not it.

I am so sick and tired of this LIE about how apparently tomboys and unfeminine women are somehow privileged and conceited while the poor girly girls and feminine women are somehow oppressed for being feminine. It’s a fucking lie. It only serves to take GNC women down a peg and prevent us from getting too comfortable (because heaven forfend we actually feel confident about ourselves in a world that constantly tells us to conform) while also convincing young women that femininity is hated and misunderstood, and that what they should really do is ~reclaim~ and ~embrace~ it.
