Introduction

You all already know who I am so what's the point of an introduction... what? I have to do one of these? Fine. Names' Charlotte Bony, former 1st Lt. of the United States Marine Corps, now glorified crop-duster and scout for one paranoid scientist. Nothing for me to worry about so long as the food stays good and Captain Stanley doesn't give out any other orders. Nothing wrong with kicking back and enjoying the NoCal sunshine while it lasts, if you know what I mean.

As 1st Lt. Bony's second, I'll give you the run down on her expectations. She prefers to run a tight ship when the Captain isn't around... ironic considering we're not the Navy. This blog takes place in the stone world. Asks are allowed, but the 1st Lt. can choose if she wants to respond or not--don't expect her to give up state secrets! She's got a busy schedule and we don't have a lot of hands to share work.

Ships are fine and multiple ships are fine, no one here seems to care and it keeps the private news running

Mission Log

All right, the top brass don't want you all to know this, but I happen to know a good source of the private news, and things are getting boring around here so why not shake it up a little? Just remember not to mention my name since they tend to get a little touchy when you talk about certain things, okay?

If you like meta, fics, RP, or have OCs that you want to yap about (or so many AUs you don't know what to do with them) and are looking for an active discord server that is 18+ where you can choose your level of spice, then Stone World might be the server for you! Just shoot me a DM and I'd be happy to talk more about it. Some in-server bonuses are:

RPs are not server-wide and we don't restrict characters so you can pick whomever you want to RP,

Spectator Role for people who don't want to RP but want to enjoy plots,

Livewrites; Your own cheer squad to encourage you as you write fic,

OCs are welcome, encouraged, and loved! We don't require an OC approval process to use your character for RPs, and we host regular OC questions to get to know your character (or self-insert) a little better,

Choose your own spice level means you can enjoy the perks of an 18+ server without sacrificing your comfort,

Seasonal events such as summer scavenger-bingo, spooky murder mysteries, and winter gift exchanges,

Yap sessions about AUs, plots, and thoughts; we're always ready to brainstorm!

Had a rat problem we needed to deal with. Took out a good portion of our corn, so needless to say, Stanley's pissed about it. You shouldn't laugh at your CO's pain, but I did tell them so... just between us, it was pretty funny

Hah! You really are in a talkative mood! I got to hand it to you, Doctor, Captain wasn't lying when he said you knew how to /pontificate/.

Is this a word you just learned the meaning of? Did Stan explain this word to you? I must tell you he learned that from me and he does not use it correctly either. You seem so eager to use a new word from your captain you bend the knee so easily for. Was your intention to impress me? Make light conversation and get on my good side? If so, it did not work. I must remind you that you are under my employ as well. It would be smart to keep your “jokes” to a minimum if you wish to remain here. You are here to serve my endeavors and not to make friends. That will come later.

That being said, one would only consider my manner of speaking on my views as “pompous” because they cannot match my intellect nor do they understand or really listen to what I speak of. They let their feelings, religion, and ethics guide them in their perspective and actions rather than thinking of it in a practical and logical manner when instead we could have a discussion and make progress. Unfortunately, the former is prioritized over the latter. I intend to change that. As one would say, the ends do justify the means after all.

Don't worry, I couldn't give a rat's ass about impressing scientists. That said... All Time Low wasn't much of a phase for you, was it?

I know you wouldn't get rid of your best fighter pilot, Doctor. It'd be a piss-poor move on your part and take too long to train a new one to my level. Even with a god-tier sniper like the Captain, you have to admit that his flying has nothing on mine.

Cute that you want to be friends, but I don't fraternize with my superiors.

Mission Log

Took longer than we thought to get to base camp, of course I'm not telling anyone where it is. There was some drama but nothing compared to the bickering in that castle, so I'd say it's not half bad.

Morning brief with Stanley, was informed it would run long on account of Xeno being in a talkative mood. But when isn't he?

Fill out flight plan for watering crops and scouting missions

Prepare for assignment- pack extra provisions

Special assignment- Should take about 5 days, leaving in the afternoon, difficult terrain and completely uncharted, be ready for potential threats

Charlotte! Could you give us any stories from your time serving? And what got you into these special services at that one conference when the blast happened?

Hah! I've got a few that'll change how you view a few people, including the Captain. He was inconsolable when his favorite taqueria closed down--the Abuela running it got too old and had to sell it to move closer to family. I think he bitched for about a month after that; took forever to find a new place that was half as good. And to think I got grief for having soda preferences!

Other than that, I have a few from before I served under Stanley; I did enjoy Cyprus. Ran a few exercises as a part of the 24th, but it wasn't a permanent deployment. Gotta say though, serving under him leads to a lot fewer headaches.

As for getting into the special services that got me to that conference? Heh, I don't think I'll tell you! Ran a few pretty important missions though, if that's any hint. All I wanted to do was travel and fly cool planes, simple as that.

Hope you weren't expecting too many details; I can't go giving away everything straight out of the gate!
