There are a few messages in my inbox asking me where the hell I am, so I'll take a moment to reply to those of you I couldn't reply to personally. Thank you, guys, for checking up on me.
There's been plenty of changes in my life recently - both tragic and happy, and I simply haven't had enough time for social networking. (And, frankly speaking, I feel fine.))
As for Tumblr, my presence here has been mostly related to Joe, but I have to admit that I find the decisions he's been making (since 2012 tbh) really disappointing. Right now, considering that I don't have much time or emotional involvement to spare, there's literally nothing to sustain my active interest in his career. I still think he's a great guy and an underrated actor, but I fail to understand where exactly he's going with everything he's been doing (or NOT doing) lately and even if there's a direction I'd find satisfying, he's going there way too slowly and with too much stumbling for my taste. I'd like to clarify that I'm talking about his acting career, cause that's basically the only thing that has ever interested me. Unfortunately, it seems that in our cruel world an actor can't afford to combine serious acting with actively running production companies, screenwriting/directing ambitions, and buffoonery without giving their place to other, less ambitious (but more determined) people. So, if they choose the latter, then I guess it's time for us to part. I suppose I'll keep an eye on Joe (but not so closely), and ofc I wish him all the best.
I haven't yet figured out whether I need this blog or not or whether I'll have time to be here in the future, so I'll just leave things hanging for a while.
Thanks. )
