the uniqueness of every individual's disco elysium experience is one of the most valuable narrative elements of the game. it is also ridiculously funny. i scroll through the tag and see beautiful meta and art about jean vicquemare, a character who, in my playthrough, i spoke to a total of twice (one of which was the end sequence) bc when he arrived he told me he didn't want to talk to me and i took him completely seriously and never tried talking to him again
