one thing that ppl might not wanna hear is that Piers... isn't really a twink like he's portrayed in fanfic or fanart

the guy is tall and slouchy. He's depressed, he's a musician, he plays indie punk music and refuses to sell out or conform to standards. He's anarchaic. He's exhausted, he's super protective of (iirc) his only family member, and of his tiny hometown who doesn't have a great economy. He's also the leader of a whole team. He's a guy who knows the power of music, and the power of his Pokemon. He's not afraid to throw hands. He's always tired and wants to focus on his songwriting. He's got dark circles around his eyes as if stress is speeding up his aging process.

He's not frail or bratty, or a pillow princess, he's not a delicate pretty boy, he's a modern London punk.

This isn't to say he couldn't be queer, because he absolutely could be (and I believe he is, knowing that a lot of queer history is closely tied to the punk subculture), but he's not a yaoi bottom and portraying him as such kinda does a disservice to his character. There are definitely more twinkish characters in Pokemon, absolutely. But I really don't think Piers is one of them.
