"why are so many leftists disabled" maybe it's because disabled people don't really care for the "kill all disabled people" parties but who can say
fuck it, im headcanoning every single fictional character as transmasc. you cant stop me
"transfeminists are trying to divide the community!" and the attempt to cause division in question is just.... asking trans men and transmascs to be conscious of their own transmisogynistic behaviors/beliefs and like, pointing out tangible evidence of them having privilege over us by virtue of not being transfem? how are we causing divisions when all we're doing is asking you to try not to contribute to our oppression? are you not the ones actively dividing the community by forcing us out of trans spaces with your transmisogyny and refusal to listen to even gentle criticism about the way you talk about and behave around your "trans sisters" that you claim to care so much about? it's always "protect the dolls" until we tell you that you're the ones making us feel unsafe in the first place, then you have egotistical meltdowns and compare us to our own oppressors. the divide begins and ends with your refusal to listen to us when we try to speak.
remember what i said about egotistical meltdowns? yeah
it is true, though. studies show that trans men/mascs do face the highest sexual assault rates, and it is a fact that they make up the lesser portion of political figures

Every time exclusionists come up with a new enemy, it seems like the core tenet is, "this group's relative privilege means they should be deprived of, community, resources, compassion, or are otherwise invading and stealing from us, the real oppressed group."
Aro and ace exclusion was like this, they'd say "Asexuals are basically straight, they can just pass as straight, nobody cares if they want to fuck or not, there's aromantic straight man invading Pride, there are quirky asexual straight girls pretending to be queer, asexuals are appropriating Stone and oppressing lesbians."
Bisexual exclusion and it was all, "Bisexuals are basically straight, they can just avoid oppression by being straight, these fucking bisexual women are bringing their homophobic straight boyfriends to pride, bisexual women are appropriating butch and femme, and they can't say dyke, those are lesbian only terms, bisexual women are oppressing lesbians."
And now it's like, "Trans men are basically cis. They can just avoid oppression by saying they are men, these fucking trans men are dangerous rapists who can pretend to be women to avoid consequences, trans men are appropriating T4T, and they can't say tranny, and can't say they were once "eggs", those are trans woman only terms. Trans men are oppressing women."
This isn't even all, transmeds also fit this bill, their enemy is just "the transtrender menace."
Like here we are again, rooting out the fake queers, policing them, traumatizing an entire community, and when we all get embarrassed about how we fell for yet another fucking queer moral panic, the damage will be downplayed, nobody will learn anything and we'll move onto the next secretly privileged queer group who needs to be annihilated in order to defend some poor defenseless women who cannot possibly defend themselves from these ugly mannish straight invaders... huh, wait a second.... why does that sound so familiar?
For those who aren't catching the hint, all of these movements have rhetoric which maps directly onto TERF rhetoric where, "Trans people are privileged invaders, they aren't really oppressed at all, they are dangerous rapists, and mentally ill liars. They are invading lesbian communities, and transing the remaining lesbians, and trans people's very existence is an existential threat to women."
I think it makes to sense to consider the term "AMAB" to be a transmisogynistic slur at this point.
It is a term that is pretty much always used with transfems in mind. Even though 99% of "AMAB" people are cis men and 100% of cis men were "AMAB", the term does not convey "cis men plus some other tiny groups included on a technicality", but rather specifically focuses your attention on the alleged similarities between cis men and transfems.
For instance, a phrase like "men's attitudes towards women" hints that men are generally misogynistic, whereas "AMAB attitudes towards women" suggests that transfems specifically are no different from cis men in their misogyny. The act of co-categorisation is in itself a political position.
I am only comfortable hearing "AMAB" from other transfems, and even then only if I trust that they understand it in the same way I do. Hearing it from anyone else is like a disorienting jolt or a slap in the face, barely different from the T-slur.
cagab language was made by intersex people to talk about the medical oppression we face. it got 'adopted' by the wider trans community. its not a slur, but intersex language made to talk about intersexism that just kinda got watered down

okay so let me get it straight...
if you headcanon a cis male character as a trans man you take away a headcanon from trans women!!
if you headcanon a cis female character who is masc in any small way as a trans man then that means you believes a woman cant be masc without being a man!!
and if you headcanon a cis female character who is fem as a trans man then you must hate feminine women!!
trans men cant headcanon shit at this point
right like. and the logic behind the first one is so stupid, too. thats a cis man. im not taking away any rep.
people calling out gooseworx for being racist isn't fucking "targeted harassment" oh my god you people need to get offline
its not transmisogny either. she, a white woman, took a big part of black culture, and made it something else to fit her show. like what. she could've used any other song, or, even better, gone the extra mile to actually write one
Attempting to put into words why being told to shut up and sit down hurts more than it should as a transmasc:
For those of us raised as girls, we were told to sit down, shut up, and look pretty. Even if someone wasn’t specifically told that, it was obvious that it was being pushed by the people, media, and social norms around us.
So when we as transmascs and trans men are told /that exact same thing/, to sit down and shut up because someone “more important” is talking, it reminds us of how we were treated when we were little girls or when we were seen as little girls.
And the “look pretty” part doesn’t get left out either. The ratio I’ve seen of “shut up and sit down” in the same sentence as something referring to our genitals (or the genitals they expect us to have) is nearly 1:1.
We have to walk on eggshells constantly. We are either seen as confused and stupid little girls or scary and privileged cis men. I’ve seen countless posts saying something along the lines of “take away the trans part from trans men and it all makes sense” which is ridiculous, obviously. We are trans.
When we step outside that perfect model of either the stereotypical 14 year old with fluffy hair and a high pitched voice or the stereotypical cis man with all the power in the world, we are critiqued at best and abused at worst. When we fit into those stereotypes, we are critiqued at best and abused at worst.
We are treated like dress up dolls that are just a bit broken. We can’t be good enough for everyone, let alone anyone. People put their own perceptions of us above our experiences and then stick their fingers in their ears when we try to tell them that maybe we’re worth listening to.
We are already told subconsciously to sit down, shut up, and look pretty by society and your typical transphobes. Being told this by your own community feels like a knife in the back.
