i think in the same way you have to remove threats of suicide from your internal vocabulary for the sake of your mental wellbeing you should also remove threats of murder from your external vocabulary for the sake of your capacity to interact with other people. especially threats to entire demographics i'm sick of reading 'kill all [group]' like thats in any way a normal thing to say.

Maybe I'm not going to be able to say this in a nice way but it's really, really tiring when the people who tell me to "be aware of my privilege" as I transition and "always make room for the women in your life" are the same people who turn around and reduce men and masc people to one cookie cutter stereotype and refuse to let me speak about the discrimination I face as a trans man because "what discrimation? You're a man".

Like it becomes quite clear when people think of masculinity as a poison.
