Hello, my gemlings and welcome to my blog~ I’m announcing that I’m having a contest celebrating the New Year! All are welcome to join! I’d love to see your creativity and let it spread through the Steven Universe community!
- My big sis @keeranvonkramer and I will be the judges, but please, PLEASE send them through my submissions or tag me #CammieContest
- We’ll be also judging on the design’s originality and creativity. So if you want to add more backstory than what’s given please add as much as you like. (There will be an eventual comic or fanfic later in the year)
- Depending on how many entries we receive I’ll choose a limit of two to three entries per person and there is no end date currently but I will post when I feel like the contest should end.
- Finally the grand prize winner will get their design picked as the final product, second place gets a follow and the diamond’s pearl based after the contestant’s design, and third place gets a follow and a shout-out!
Black Diamond likes being the “star” of the authority. She’s seen as vain, sassy, manipulative, power-hungry, and selfish. Of course Black has some “good” qualities as well, but they're always as part of a ruse to maintain control over the other gems so they won’t ever leave her side. Black also use to be a coregency with White Diamond before Pink Diamond’s “shattering” but now she sees White as weak and softer from the once powerful and strict diamond she once called her ally.

Originally intended on being Violet Diamond, Hope Diamond is a calm, mysterious, sincere and insecure but she is a superior leader, even if some of her intentions aren’t good ones. Formed with a singular eye, she is constantly hiding her face and has a darker indigo hue than a violet hue. But she’s well known for dozing off in her chair as she watches over her own court accidentally not on purpose. She is quite hesitant about shattering as she was almost shattered by White Diamond when she first formed, but Black Diamond spared her knowing she had a strong purpose despite being defective.

Red Diamond is a fiery leader when it comes to her sense of leadership. She is known for her lethal temper making her entire body engulf into flames. Red is also quick to give shattering sentence at the slightest offense or mistake big or small. She likes to relax in her extraction chamber by competing in her favorite game, cookery. She is fiercely competitive and often her court members let her cheat just so she doesn’t enrage by a loss. However, she does have a soft spot for Chameleon and entertainment from Chameleon’s Lime Spinel & Orange Spinel.

Chameleon Diamond is the “youngest” in my authority, even though she’s slightly shorter than the average diamond height. She is extremely headstrong and determined to be better than Pink Diamond, an occasional brat when she’s told she can’t receive another colony, intelligent from knowing every known planet in the galaxy, and extremely confident with her colonies and court. She ADORES plants more than gems and treats them like a newborn organic. Her extraction chamber is a greenhouse where she can spend time with her most beloved plants from venus fly traps to succulent plants.
