Our less than perfect shibori inspired tees and tote. But we love them all the same. Most are custom orders. Truly made with a labour of love. Indigo will always have a soft spot in our hearts cause that’s the very first colour we ever used and fell hard for it. It was way, way back when it all started. The passion. The birth of MamaChroma. 🌑 (at Asia/Singapore)
Welcoming the weekend with some vibrant colours. Well, as always. 🌈 (at Asia/Singapore)
What it’s Thursday already?!🤯 Right now we’re still waiting for our T-shirts to arrive. Many have asked for boys’ clothing and we just wanna let you know that we hear ya. It’s gonna happen, we promise. It’ll just take a bit of time. ❤️ The thing is, we’re a really small business operating on a one mama show. And that’s all on me. I source for good canvases to hand dye. Do a few tests to ensure it’s all good. And dyeing itself, is another entire process on its own. Oh and I take my own photos too. Yes, all that you see is all me. (Oklah this photo not by me) Plus the all-in-betweens of being a responsible mama to my babe. Although I’m a work-at-home-mama, mom guilt still exists. You worry that you spend so much time on your craft, you then neglect your child who’s waiting on you to finish up. On top of all that, housework and bla3x. And now that we’re fasting, you still have to put in that same amount of energy and go through your days. So, I hope you stick around and support small businesses because you’ll know, no matter big or small of an income we make, it makes every effort and sacrifices worth it. And yes, it truly is for our children. From a WAHM to another, I see you, I feel you, I do. *P/S: Yes, you might know me as #theveiledbabywearer. I wear my babe for all three years and I dyed that woven wrap hence this photo to stay relevant. Random okay, I know. 💪🏾 - Fitah (at Asia/Singapore)
Happy Tuesday! ☀️ We’ve been dabbling with too much rainbow so we revisited INDIGO and made some cool stuff. Do you see what we see? Hee In our little mission on working towards sustainable living, we thought of bringing in some eco bags. You fancy? 🌏 (at Asia/Singapore)
Happy Thursday✨ It’s been a raining and we absolutely love it! To those fasting, we hope it’s been an easy one for you. This baby romper together with a few others will be up on the website by end of next week. Colours used here are Blue, Violet and Dragonfruit 🦄 (at Asia/Singapore)
A little behind the scenes of what we do here. Swipe left to see the almost finished product. Almost finished because we’re still hand painting the stars on our impression of a vibrant and colourful galaxy. Any galaxy lovers out there? 🌌 (at Asia/Singapore)
Heya! Hope everyone’s having a great Mondayyy! Our Pastel Rainbow seems to be a hot favourite as we already received a few queries on this colourway. Well, just wanted to let you know that it will be available in Tshirts, dresses and hopefully baby rompers 🌈 (at Asia/Singapore)
May you always find the light that guides you home, to happiness and to wherever there’s good, my love ✨ (at Asia/Singapore)

All the imperfections found in this dress is what makes it perfect. This is for all you adventurous Indigo lovers. Are you one of them? Oh and we hope Thursday’s been good to you. xo ⇢ Featuring Little Miss Saira Twirl Dress in size 2
When the sun is shining brightly, put on your shades and continue being awesome. Can’t go wrong with that we reckon ☼ Little Miss Saira Twirl Dress is made of soft knitted cotton and only comes in three sizes at this time. We will have ready to mail hand dyed dresses as well as made to order. Don’t worry, the dresses are instock but we just need time to dye them in your choice of colour way! The turnaround time will be within 1 to 2 weeks or earlier. ⇢ Saira is wearing a size 3 in Indigo
Who would’ve thought a camaraderie of mustard, fuchsia and purple would be this pretty! This swaddle is going to snuggle a friend’s beautiful newborn. Aww. Oh and also, we’ve been quietly working on our very first upcoming release thus the crickets here. Hoping to be ready in a few weeks or earlier! What kids garments are you wanting to see? Would love to hear from you ♡
Indigo, a personal favourite of ours. A colour way you’ll see more of, in days or weeks to come. Maybe for our first release? 😉
Popping by to give you a little sneak peek of what we’ve been up to! These baby rompers are made of soft knitted cotton and afterwards, thoughtfully hand dyed by us. Every dyed garment is unique and one of a kind so you won’t be able to find any two of the same. Oh and don’t you worry, we only use high quality non toxic, baby safe dyes that had undergone numerous tests so it’s safe on your littles’ skin. Loving the 🌈 of colours we’ve got going on here! . <a flatlay of two baby rompers on a table. one is dyed with bahama blue, watermelon and pomegranate. the other is dyed in violet, plum blossom and peony>
What everyone talks about these days are the positivity of being a mom, a holistic approach to healing, how to teach your kids the ABCs and the hijaiyyah as soon as they’re out of the womb, how breast is best, how to be a Mother or else your kids will turn into scums of society one day. You get the drift. Nope, not being dramatic. And not saying that all the above aren’t good either.
Ok, positivity is good. People always want to be the better version of themselves and it’s great that they will do whatever it takes to be one. But have you stopped and pondered on what would happen if you take a step back and not have to be part of these ideals. And continue to live your own lives doing whatever you feel is right for you and your kids?
Well, for starters, you can take your time. Take your time to learn, breathe, cry, smile, you know, whatever emotions there are. Raising a child is hard work. However, you don’t have to follow what other people are doing to nurture and raise their kids. You don’t have to stress yourselves constantly to be the better version of yourselves because nobody is there to tell you what to do. You set your own rules, rules that you are comfortable with. Work towards that. Only then, you CAN be the better version of yourselves.
From time to time, you may be swayed by others’ way of doing things because let’s face it, we are just human. It’s fine to get swayed but at least know what you’re getting yourselves into, NOT because it IS the trendiest thing to do at the moment. God no please.
You don’t have to be a part of something because it’s trendy and because all moms who are doing it are considered cool. Stop trying so hard to be socially acceptable and being part of the perfect, cool mom group. You don’t have to be pressured to be that mother who sends her kids to all the best schools, the mother who home schools, the mother who doesn’t allow her kids any screen time, the mother who only serves organic food. Come on. What works for them may not work for you.
Start normalising the normal. Stop pressuring yourselves to be something you are not. Motherhood is already challenging enough as it is. You need to know that you are doing enough. Tell yourself that. Whatever decisions and choices you make, it’s super ok because you say so. Don’t let others dictate your way of mothering.
