#attitudeofgratitude Today I am grateful that I have a choice of who and what I let into my life. The negativity keeps trying to sneak it's way in, so today I chose to unplug the chord that allows to take hold.

attitudeofgratitude Today I am grateful that I am able to see beauty in myself. Like many women, at one point in my life I couldn't find one "good" thing about myself. I wasn't tall enough, I wasn't thin enough, I wasn't pretty enough, I wasn't fit enough, I wasn't smart enough, I wasn't "enough" enough. And I thought this way for way too long. Today I can finally say I AM BEAUTIFUL. I AM PROUD ME AND DAMN ANYONE WHO THINKS DIFFERENTLY. I challenge you to see the beauty in yourself today too. If you are up to it...post a photo of yourself and in the comments make a comment to yourself saying "YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL"

#mondaymotivation This weekend I did my first outdoor" long run since breaking my foot. I decided to take take on a 7 mile loop around the lake. And how was it? It SUCKED! The air quality was horrible (the smoke for the fire in Canada), my feet felt heavy and I struggled every...single...mile. My pace was all over the place and I couldn't find my sweet spot. More than once I had to look down at my @momentumjewelry wrap to keep me going. I finished strong and I am proud I stuck it out. I have to keep in mind that I have only been running for 2 weeks and it will take time to get back to 100%. But for right now, I am proud to be at a STRONG 80%.
