This is worth checking out. A mobile game made by Deutsche Telecom partnered with scientists from the University of College London, the University of East Anglia, and Alzheimer's Research UK is helping gain important data that will help Dementia and Alzheimer's research. Sea Hero Quest is a mobile game where users go on an adventure, play puzzles, complete tasks, and in doing so, help send valuable data to scientists. According to Sea Hero Quest's website, there is a new case of Alzheimer's or Dementia every 3 seconds and just 2 minutes of playing Sea Hero Quest equates to the same amount of data scientists would receive in 5 hours of lab time. You can actually do good while playing this fun game. The main goals of the game align with skills that scientists need data on--navigating mazes, accurately shooting flares, and chasing creatures.
