"No, s-sorry. I’m R-Rem," he said, looking at the stranger as he rubbed his wrist, right where his watch would have been. "It’s f-fine. Being snapped at isn’t m-much new, quite used to i-to it really," he offered the other a smile as he looked down at his feet, "but, no it’s fine. I g-got my phone. Thank you though. I just really l-liked that watch."

  "Well, sorry about that Rem. Just kind of thought you were one of the people that caused me to come out here for some quiet." Adrian said, smiling and sticking his hand out for a handshake. "Sorry that I have no clue where your watch is, you ran here? Maybe it fell off while you were running. I could help you look for it if you want me to, to make up for me being slightly rude when you walked up."

Rem hadn’t been in the mood to do much but go for a run. He had been going for a while when he finally decided he needed to take a rest and saw a bench, it was occupied by only another boy, but he didn’t think that would matter since he was reading. Walking over, he was about to sit when he was feeling around his wrist and his pockets, sighing in annoyance, suddenly looking over at the stranger. “N-no, not really,” Rem said quietly, looking at him and then down, “un-unless you’ve seen a w-watch.”

"Oh you're not Connor are you?" Adrian asked, both of his eyebrows raising up. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you. You look kind of like a friend of mine and I just thought you were him. Sorry." He rambled slightly, shutting his book. "Ugh I haven't seen a watch, sorry. I have a phone if you need to see the time though."

Adrian was sitting on a bench outside reading a book, he'd moved out there when the noise inside the guys' apartment had gotten too loud for him to concentrate. He heard someone walk up in front of him and assumed it was one of the other guys. "Can I help you?" He asked not looking up from his book. After a few minutes, his eyes left the book in his lap and he raised an eyebrow at the person in front of him.

"Wow, you guys are from all over the place." She said with a good-natured laugh. "I understand the boredom part, as much as I love the peace and quiet, and trust me I do love it, sometimes you just have to pack up and move somewhere new." The teen thought for a moment. How was she suppose to pick one place out of the entire city she’d come to love. "I don’t know, any shopping place, Oh! There’s this one place that has these funnel cakes. The guy there is really cool, and if you ask nicely he gives you one and doesn’t charge you that much." Niya clapped her hands together happily. "Oh! And Central park is so pretty this time of year too, definitely go there." She continued to list her favorite landmarks before catching herself. "God, I’m sorry, I always ended up rambling..But uh..yeah, sorry."

"Yeah, I guess we are from a lot of places. Doesn't really seem that much to us anymore since we've sorta gotten use to the entire different places thing now." Connor said, smiling slightly. They all listened as she named off different places, nodding at different times. Tristan smiled when she finished. "We love checking out different places when we're in a new town, so we'll definitely check that out." He said. Blake spoke up next, "So are you from here?"

"Well it’s about a half a mile walk, mainly up and down hill. As for Loggerhead and logging, no logging doesn’t happen there. Not that sort of logging anyway. It’s more data logging but I don’t think that’s the reason it’s called Loggerhead. " She shrugged a little.

Blake nodded. “Nice.” He said, looking around. Tristan laughed and shoved Greg some. “Nice, so what sort of data logging do they do? I mean if you know what the data’s about.” He asked, looking back at Tory.

"Most of it’s to do with the wildlife on and around the island though there was one…secret project that me and friends managed to foil. That’s a good thing though, considering what the plan was. It was a one-off and had nothing to do with LIRI itself…more one of the worker’sin a secret lab with a key code pad. Easy enough to break into…." Tory flashed a smile a Tristan, unsure of how he’d take her last comment.

Tristan raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Secret project? You broke into a lab area? Nice." He said, nodded. Connor looked at her, "If you don't mind me asking, what was the secret project that they were working on there?" He asked.

"I’d still be up there if…..something hadn’t happened." She shrugged a little, trying to avoid the rest of that topic. "If you wanted to go I’d show you, there’s not a lot else to do." Tory turned to Greg, smiling. "No, not really. This is one of the islands closest to an even smaller one called Loggerhead. The reason i live here is because my dad, Kit works on that other island. All the people that live on this island have at least one member working on Loggerhead. Some of the other island’s have strange names though."

Connor stepped forward slightly from the other guys. "I'm Connor, can you tell me where we are exactly? Kind of lost track." He said, smiling slightly. Tristan nodded behind him.

The five boys were sitting outside, Blake and Greg playing soccer against each other nearby while Tristan, Adrian, and Connor sat reading or looking around. Connor looked up as soon as he heard someone walking toward him and the rest of the Pack. He looked at the woman in front of them and raised an eyebrow. “Can we help you?” He asked. Blake and Greg headed back over in case they were needed.

Ella smiled at the five boys, arms crossed over her chest. “You boys haven’t seen a pack of wolves and German Shepards running around have you? There should be about five of them. I leave them alone for an hour and they disappear.” She had a double bagged brown paper bag at her feet. “I don’t want them running around stealing other people’s lunches.”

Connor looked around at the other guys before looking back at the woman. Before he could answer, Greg spoke up, "You have a Pack of Wolves too?" He asked, earning a smack on the arm from Blake. Connor shook his head. "Sorry to say that I don't think we've seen any of them running around.We could help look for them though." He offered.

“Nice to meet you too.” Connor said, nodding. “We’ve been staying in a group for about a year now. We’re just trying to see what all is around this area. Thought we’d check out the entire area.” He said. He looked back at the other guys. “The rest of the guys are Adrian, Tristan, Blake, and Greg.” He said pointing to each of the guys when he said their name.

"Groups are good, safety in numbers and all that." She nodded, looking over each guy as they were introduced. "Well, this area’s pretty safe as far as safe gets I guess. Uh, the city’s off that way." Niya pointed to her right. "But it’s a long walk, so unless you want to deal with crowds and stuff I don’t recommend it, unless you’re going sightseeing!" There was a sudden happiness in her voice. "Sightseeing in New York is the best, so that is something you should do."

Connor nodded, "Yeah we've been together as a group for about a year now. Mostly staying in California, where Tristan and Adrian are from. I'm from Florida originally, while Greg's from Washington and Blake's from Ireland. We travel some though, would be boring staying only in an apartment with the rest of the guys if we didn't get out some." He said, laughing. Blake nodded. "Sightseeing would be great. We'll probably end up doing that before we leave." Adrian kept his eyes on the woods around them to make sure nothing was around them without any of them knowing it. "Any places in New York you'd recommend for sightseeing?" Tristan asked, raising an eyebrow.

Amber blinked and chuckled. This was new, not even a day and she was already seeing new people. “Amberlyn, just Amber though.” She replied, shaking his hand only briefly, preying he wouldn’t notice her overly hot temperature through touch. Shoving her hands into her jacket, Amber shrugged, “I’m actually new here, Away from home.” ‘Or kicked out’, she thought with a sigh, shrugging.

Connor smiled, shaking her hand. “Nice to meet you, Amber.” He said. He adjusted the backpack that was on his back before speaking again. He nodded. ”I moved here about a year ago. Met up with some guys from around here and decided to stay here for good. Or well for now. How long are you planning on staying around here?” He asked.

A sigh of relief exited the avians lips and she shrugged. Not really haven thought about that, she didn’t really know. “I guess until I’m Driven out.” She replied with a shrug; She didn’t know if they were still on her tail, but it would be good to settle somewhere other than the city. “Nice to meet you too Conner, To admit, I’m not really used to being outside of the city.” At least that part was true.

Connor nodded. "Around here's pretty nice I guess. I came here from Miami Florida. Its definitely a change, but I like it here. Met up with most of the group I live with now here, so it worked for us to just stay here." He said, shrugging. "So who would drive you out? Know someone from around here that wouldn't want you here?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
