nasa employee: this guy hasn't interacted with humans in like 20/60 years should he really be giving interviews?
nasa employee 2: ehh just give him some media training and it should be fine
this is more of a silly one bc i just wanted to draw grace in a suit ^^
do you have a fave "canon"/canon-compliant long-fic about kallus and zeb's relationship growing in s3/4?
Hmmm, I'm not usually a longfic reader (SORRY 😭😭), and I tend to gravitate more towards Hoth era Kalluzeb, so I don't have any like favorites that are coming to mind off rip :(( I remember loving The Grand Gamble by @mossywriting when I read it , it's a season 4 era fic, and it was a super fun fic to read! It's certainly on the longer side (at least by my standards) (85K ish) so maybe that's one you'd enjoy!

Very slow burn. Can chose to stop at Yavin and it works.

bitches really shipping din with zeb… that is a married man!!!!!
Shhhhhhh...! Don't start beef with the DinZebs
There's like one way that shipping war would go down and it'd look something like this.

random but here is a recipe for cold peanut noodles that you can make during hot weather because i just ate this and had a fantastic time
2tbsp of peanut butter. a splash of rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup. some chili flakes, some sesame seeds. a splash of water to thin it out. now you put in your noodles (cooled!!!! boiled and rinsed so they’re cold!!) and then some chopped up cucumber or carrot or avocado or cabbage or any crunchy vegetable. i just used cucumber
you can also put in lime juice or herbs or sriracha or grated garlic/ginger or anything like that; tofu/tempe/meat for more protein etc. noodle wise this can be ramen soba udon whatever, i used soba. enjoy homies

we need to instill a new storytelling rule of thumb into people called "show don't tweet" where we encourage them to put all pertinent canon information into the actual story and its official supplemental material instead of using reddit AMAs as lore dlcs
Take a WILD guess what my fav ship is—
I'm honestly getting tired of the 'be thankful for the cameo' response whenever I try to critique Zeb's role in the Mandalorian and Grogu.
I DID NOT ASK for a Zeb cameo.
I liked his ending in Rebels. It was a satisfying ending, and it neatly wrote him out of future canon events without making it seem as though he just forgot about The Ghost crew or they him.
Instead we now have this bizarre reality where Carson Teva flies with both him AND Hera, but never at the same time. Where Zeb identifies so strongly as a pilot he's completely forgotten that he was once responsible for a decent chunk of the Ghost's mechanical maintenance. Where Sabine is left to stew over her people's genocide on her own while Zeb, who perfectly understands what she's going through, does random missions for the New Republic within easy flying distance of her.
All of this is of course due to him being such a stupidly expensive character to animate that Disney had to maneuver all of his live action character writing to ensure he only ever appeared in the most high-budget stories in the most conveniently CGIable scenes.
If they didn't have the budget to do his writing well they should have spent that budget elsewhere and kept his satisfying ending. I would have felt less apprehensive about watching a version of Mando and Grogu with Carson Teva, because Carson Teva doesn't have million dollar animation demands dictating his every scene.
see the joke is that zeb and starscream are voiced by the same guy. laugh.
i think a big issue with star wars is that there are chunks of the fandom and they’re trying to satisfy all of us to the detriment of the dedicated fandom when it comes to the current line up of live action content.
like mandalorian and grogu was good for what it was, a father son movie for a slightly younger audience or general fans. it had characters brought back from other media like rotta, referencing his comics appearances and the clone wars movie, and zeb (beloved zeb) (there’s other characters but those are the two most significant).
like i feel the people who dislike it have extremely valid takes, especially about the cash grabby nature of it all, however i do think it was an entertaining watch and i had fun seeing it in theaters with my parents, who are the general audience of star wars.
tldr: i had fun seeing mandalorian and grogu, wish it had more connections to the greater storyline but all in all i found it entertaining.
