a night with liv, always consisted of the same things, mindless, numbing fun, something callie reveled in, escaping her past life and her present thoughts, sprawled on her bed, looking over at liv, “i want one of those burrito things, and lots of tacos, and all the sauce they have” callie quipped, knowing liv wasn’t kidding about sharing, “and nachos” she listed, finally, with a nod, a satisfied smile on her lips, “and one of those slurpee things”
Liv was lucky in the fact that she happened to be roomed with one of her best friends in the entire world. It made life so much easier as they weren’t bugging anyone else with their relentless tomfoolery. As Callie started listing, the high teen started tapping in the order, only stopping once the blonde was done rambling like a maniac and completing the order. Now began the waiting. Something she wasn’t good at “I got one of each slurpee- I haven’t ever tried them” She was used to having items a little... higher quality “we should have gone away for the summer”
Ronnie’s top teeth sunk into her bottom teeth as she stared at the girl in front of her, the intimidation practically radiating off her. Ronnie figured she didn’t seem like the type who was approached often, especially to be asked for questions. “Ye-yeah,” she said softly, she had already guessed that the gymnastics team wasn’t exactly top of the athletic food chain, hence why she had been motivated to join. “Well, now you know that there is a gymnastics team, where do you think it would?”
Another shrug found its way onto Olivia’s petite frame. If something didn’t directly relate to her or what she liked to do she usually didn’t pay it much of any attention “My guess would be close to the gymnasium- maybe around the dance rooms? They’re kind of similar right?” She turned around to finish doing what she was doing in her locker, grabbing a couple of books and throwing them haphazardly in the bag that was loosely hanging from her body “come on” she nudged her head, implying for the girl to follow her. Maybe she was feeling charitable today.
Caroline was heading to her room for the night when she saw Olivia’s door propped open and she peaked her head in clearly seeing that the girl wasn’t all there. The Hearst was quite aware of Liv’s habits and had tried to create a judgment free zone for the girl. What her grandmother had taught her from a young age is that there was always an underlying hidden secret behind everyone’s pain, especially those who were filling those voids with instant gratification and substances that only numbed the pain more. “You okay there lady?” she asked helping herself to the bottom of the girl’s bed. “No taco bell for me. I’m stuffed from pasta night.”
Liv glanced up from her phone, grinning at the pretty blonde and nodding her head “yeah- I’m great” she informed her, adjusting her body so there was more room on the single bed for her company “Oh, it was pasta night?” It wasn’t rare for the ballerina to miss dinners, especially when they were so carb heavy, as much as she loved carbs. Tonight would have been a good night for pasta she thought to herself “I’m gonna order those cinnamon cream cheese things- at least share those with me?” It was her way of asking for Caroline to keep her company without actually having to ask. A subtle request.
“Is it even possible to spend that much at Taco Bell?” she questioned, since it was a pretty cheap place to eat. It was hard for her to imagine spending that much money there, let alone eat it all. “I’m good. The tacos and nachos aren’t that great if they sit there for a while. They get all soggy. Maybe some of those cinnamon twist things,” she suggested.
“Everything is possible if you try hard enough” Yes, it was a big of an exaggeration- she couldn’t eat that much food even if she tried “That’s why you don’t get the nachos and you op for soft tacos instead” she tapped her head a couple of times, a little too proud of her ‘genius’. Once everything was ordered, she flopped back a little, head lulling towards the other girl “What are your plans for the night?”
Isak was taken back by the girl and how she talked, he just looked at her with big eyes “ you mean taco bell? “ he wondered and bit his lip “ well um sure.. but… is it any good?” he asked as he had never been and didnt know what the food was like at all
“Bell- Hell- same difference, really” She shrugged her shoulders, not giving much concern in his direction. She was mostly offering to be nice since they both happened to be hanging out in the same common area “Oh- it’s complete and utter garbage- that’s part of it’s charm, honestly”
a small smile formed on his lips when she took it. he looked pleased with himself that she finally accepted it. if he was going, to be honest, he wasn’t really sure what he was going to do with it if she refused to take it. but how can anyone refuse to take a cute little stuffed animal that was free? “well….. as l- l- l- long as it has a h- ho- ho home. i know what it’s l- l- l- like to not have a home f- f- f- for a uh… while.” he said giving her a small smile as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. “are you g- g- g - going to give him a name?” he asked looking over at her as he shoved his hands awkwardly in his pockets.
For a long while Liv just looked at the bear, his comment throwing her off a little. She had never been good when it came to any sort of emotions, choosing to bury and hide her own behind a mask of partying “Well I’ll do what I can to make it a good home” she concluded. She didn’t really know what a good home was and it was just a toy, but she hoped the effort made him happy. Again, she didn’t really know what to do or say when it came to these situation “Well I mean- you’re technically his father so you should probably help name him” She joked, finally glancing up to meet the boy’s eye
“Do you think that’s a good idea?” Simon questioned the other, eyes on his phone, not even bothering to look up at her. “Actually, don’t answer that, I’m sure you’re aware that it’s not a good idea, but we both know that you won’t listen to me.” He shrugged, fingers tapping away at the screen in front of him. “Taco Bell is disgusting so go ahead and just order for yourself.”
“Um, it’s the best idea?” Usually, she ate a pretty clean diet, her slight figure was evidence of that. But from time to time and with the help of a certain friend, the craving for terrible, processed, greasy food was too hard to resist “Literally nothing? No Baha Blast? Not one little taco? You’re so boring” She pouted, throwing her back against the couch
“You know what, I’ll order some stuff. It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten Taco Bell.” Collen admits, fishing out his wallet to grab cash. “I could go for a 12 pack of supreme soft tacos.” Honestly he was already expecting to share them, but if he had left overs - he could always have cold tacos for breakfast. There was nothing wrong with any of the potential outcomes in his mind at least.
After all, he liked taco bell. It was a nice treat.
Liv glanced at his wallet, not expecting him to pay for anything. She wouldn’t ave offered if she wasn’t going to pay “12 pack- jeeze” she teased, tapping the request into the uber eats app, adding on a couple other things including drinks for them both before tossing her phone to the side “I definitely ordered too much, hope you’re ready for a really shitty feast”
“I suppose that would be fair, I’m sure they have much more important bird things to worry about. Where to fly next and what to eat? Something like that.” Balo looks up to smile at Liv, turning her attention from the pigeons to the girl. “Yeah, crows are really smart. They also grow attached to people and will bring the humans they love cool stuff like dimes and buttons.” Sure, if she received dirty button from a random person she’d probably be confused but if she got one from a bird? it was the best gift ever.
You had to appreciate animals showing their love in small ways, after all.
“So, how is your day going?” It seemed polite to ask, after all, she already was rambling about birds to Liv.
“Dude, I know- I’ve been trying to bond with a crow since I was five. It almost worked once but my dad scared them off so they didn’t come back to my patio” Liv lamented. She loved crows probably more than she liked humans. And bats, but that wasn’t part of the topic at hand. “My day? I guess it’s alright? Can’t complain, really” She could, but she wasn’t going to burden someone else will all her daily woes “How is yours? I mean aside from the bird watching”
“he was a LYING cheating bastard who convinced my roommate he was falling for her JUST to swipe her virginity!” the south african proclaimed with a scowl, “he’s bloody lucky i didn’t chop off his dick and store it in a jar. well we’ll see, he’s not the smartest bulb and he tends to lather without regard. should be interesting…”
“Gross” Liv didn’t really have much of an opinion on the matter. It wasn’t really her business who did what with their dick “Honestly, you probably should have gone with super glue- similar textures and he’d have a lot of explaining to do when he walks out of his room with his hand stuck to his dick. But that might be too far”
“I’m about to order like- eight hundred dollars worth of taco hell” Her red-rimmed eyes gave her current mindstate away almost more than the sudden taco bell cravings did. It wasn’t very often Olivia Myers was found sober, she had a nasty habit of doing whatever she wanted whenever she wanted and a crippling addiction to numbness. But at least she was a good time “you gonna want anything? Cuz once it gets here I swear to Oden I am not fucking sharing with you”
“you…. you mean you d- d- d- d- don’t want the t- t- t- teddy uh…. teddy bear?” he asked frowning slightly as he looked down at it facing it towards him as he laid down on the commons couch. “i uh… w- w- w- won it at work today…. i dunno.. like uh.. some prize. i have no u- u- u- u- use for it….. i thought you would like it.” he said smiling over at the other before handing it to them. the truth was with it being luca’s final year he couldn’t have too much clutter with him without knowing where he was going to go after this really once he graduates. but he would never let them know that. “c’mon….. it might…. might add a nice touch to your room or s- s- s- s- s- something.” he said giving them a half lazy smile.
@luxorstarters
Liv glanced at the boy next to her, hooded eyes sizing him up a little before her gaze eventually fell to the teddy bear he had offered her. A sigh blew out of her as she reached towards it and wrapped her hands aound the toy's body, pulling it towards her. For a couple seconds she just stared at it as if it was some kind of alien creature. Stuffed animals had never really been her thing but it was cute so maybe it wouldn’t be terrible to take it “Fine” she finally agreed, letting it fall into her lap “But only because you were so fucking desperate to find it a new home. I can’t promise it’s a good one, though”
“Stay here for the summer, they said - it’ll be fun.” Ches mumbles as she flips through a textbook, barely paying any attention to it as she hopes for something better to catch her interest. “I could be insulting guys until they sleep with me right now and instead here I am.” She takes a sip out of her water bottle, although it’d only take sniff to realize that it wasn’t water she was currently drinking as she basked in the sun and skimmed through possible coursework.
She had to make her own fun currently, after all.
“What was your plans for the summer?” She asks, curiosity crossing her features as she looks up at the person she was talking to. Maybe it was better than her plans to go to France. Sure, being a Luxor had it’s perks, there were goals she could work on here that she wouldn’t have achieved in Paris, but she was sure they all had things they longed to do. Things that didn’t involve being stuck at boarding school.
“I’m not sure there’s a world where staying at school for the summer is going to be fun” Liv didn’t have a choice. Her parents used the academy as a babysitter to make sure she wasn’t getting into too much trouble, lord forbid they raise their child themselves “But,” She flipped her leg up so it was lazily resting on her other one, foot wiggling in the air “You’re stuck here with me which can’t be that bad- I know I’m not a hot dude or anything but I might help fill that gap a little” The brunette turned her head to face the other, a grin spreading across her lips.
“I would probably spend the summer Croatia if I could” Beautiful beaches- amazing parties- Europe had always been her favourite summer destination. Not that it mattered anymore with her being stuck at a damn boarding school “Or just in New York with my friends” She lamented, the grin falling off her face as she suddenly became extremely homesick “Let’s just run away”
Ronnie thought that she had learned her way around Luxor by now, she hadn’t gotten turned around in weeks but it seemed that gymnastics practice wasn’t in the main gym like she had been led to believe- it was still only her first week and the last thing she wanted to do was make a terrible first impression on her coach and fellow team mates. Sighing as she glanced around with slightly frantic eyes. “Hey!” She called out, breathing out a sigh of relief as she finally caught sight of someone in the empty halls. “This may seem like a very specific question but you wouldn’t know where the gymnastics team meets for practice would you?” She asked awkwardly, shuffling her light brown locks over her shoulder. “I thought it was the main gym but clearly I was wrong when I found it empty.”
Liv’s face reeled back a little as she turned and was instantly greeted with a question. Brows furrowed in obvious confusion. She wasn’t sure she gave the vibes of someone who was willing to help others, that was a little out of her aesthetic. “Uh” the girl pondered, glancing around the hall as if the room would light up and music would start playing in order to signal where it might be. That, of course, didn’t happen and she was left giving the girl a lackluster shrug “Honestly, I didn’t even know we had a gymnastics team” There was no sarcasm in her voice- she had a tendency to not really pay much attention to anything outside her little bubble.
Is that LIV MYERS? Wow, they do look a lot like KAYA SCODELARIO. I hear SHE is a SEVENTEEN year old SENIOR who originally attended LUXOR Academy. Word is they are an ARISTOCRAT student. You should watch out because they can be FOOLHARDY and EXPLOSIVE, but on the bright side they can also be LOYAL and JOVIAL. Ultimately, you’ll get to see it all for yourself.
I’m real bad at intros but pls love her anyway??

From a young age, Olivia Myers was starved for attention from her parents. Most of her time growing up was spent with nannies and babysitters- a constant flow of them giving the young girl nothing in the form of guardian stability was something that showed at an early age. Liv would often act out. She would break things, throw tantrums, scream and yell until finally, someone was paying attention to her.
She took up ballet, a form of art her mother was enthralled with, in order to try to gain some sort of pride from the woman but it ultimately left her more hurt as she would often miss recitals and other important events. Olivia only remained attached to the dance because she had grown quite fond of it and it proved to be a bit of a distraction when she was able to get out of the empty apartment she lived in.
Still, her craving for attention continued on into her teenage years though it was more deliberate as she grew older and was introduced more and more into the rich kid party circles. Her dramatic tantrums were replaced with binge drinking and quick highs. Pills she and the other kids she hung out with found in their parent's medicine cabinets. She thought that when she overdosed on a bad batch of extasy it would finally clue her parents into just how much she needed them but instead, they did the opposite and shipped her off to a boarding school so she was no longer their concern.
Olivia is angry and has a tendency to bring that rebellious party girl everywhere with her. Boarding school or not that had become who she is. It was a crutch and she knew it could completely derail the entire plan she had in place for herself but she often felt like she had nothing else.
She’s skeptical when it comes to love of any kind, cynical as hell. It’s hard for her to open up and grow genuinely close with people but once she’s deemed someone worthy, she is fiercely protective of whoever it is. Liv’s parent’s consistent rejection of her continuously makes her question her self worth and whether she’s worthy of any sort of love and affection. She has a terrible habit of sabotaging herself and the relationships she forms pushing away both romantic and platonic friends.

“I mean, what did he do to deserve it- I need to know the scale of the wrongdoing in order to determine whether or not it was warranted... then again, it might be his own fault for not knowing the difference between lube and hot sauce”
“Excuse me?” Colin said to the person with a bright smile. “Hi! I’m…so sorry to bother you, but…but I’m new here, and I just wanted to…you know… take a second to introduce myself and everything. I’m Colin, by the way.. Colin Rook.” Pausing very briefly, he gave a small shrug of his shoulders, still smiling. “Anyways yeah, I’m new here….like I just said… and I’m just trying to introduce myself to everyone. Make a good first impression…and..and all that. Cuz.. cuz you know what they say… about first impressions, they say “you’ll never get a second chance at a first impression.” So yeah… here I am, just trying to make sure my first chances at my first impressions go good by kinda just ….throwing them out there I guess? And yeah… I hope I’m doing okay. It’s really nice to meet you…er…oh..” Laughing now, he shook his head at himself. “I just realized…. I don’t think I uh… really gave you a chance to actually tell me your name did I? Well now that’s…that’s not a good way to make a good first impression now is it? I am so sorry about that! So uh, what is it? Your name, I mean.”
If there was anything Olivia was good at, it was silence. Usually, she wasn’t prone to listening to people but as the trainwreck of ramblings came out of the boy's mouth she couldn’t help the amused grin that tugged at the corners of her lips. He reminded her of an excited small breed dog- the kind rich white girls would tote around in a purse made specifically for the creature “You’re kinda weird” she informed him, no malice in her voice. Liv liked weird. It was better than the alternative “Liv Myers” she humoured him, letting this go on a little longer than she usually might have “Not gonna lie, I’m not sure how well that ‘first impression’ is gonna go with everyone here”
