learning not to return to places where I miss the past but see no future
By risking nothing, you risk everything
I feel like so many people are caught in this loop of manifesting lazily, and honestly? I call bs, and I will die on this hill.
If you’re not acting like the version of you who has everything they want, how do you expect to become the version of you who has everything they want? You keep waiting on the 3D to change while the 3D is waiting for YOU to change.
By taking that leap, you risk failing, but if you’re not willing to fail, then clearly you don’t want it enough. Eventually you realise that it isn’t “failing”, it’s just a lesson and redirection.
If you were the version of you who had everything they wanted, and had to go back in the past and live as the version of yourself who didn’t have that all for a day, what would you do? Would you sit around waiting for it to just happen? Or would you take the necessary steps to make it happen?
A lot of the time it boils down to releasing that old identity of you who is in lack. And it can suck. It can be uncomfortable and annoying sometimes, but if you want it enough, you should be willing to release that version of you and embrace the version of yourself who has everything they want.
If you keep trying, you’re bound to find a way to your desires. But if you don’t even bother, if you risk nothing, you risk everything you could actually achieve. It’s the age old clichè of “you miss all the opportunities you don’t take”.
Your brain makes suggestions, YOU MAKE DECISIONS.
Never forget that xoxo
I feel like every day I learn something new, especially when it comes to manifestation and myself. I love it!
Something I’ve come to realise is, doubt is just a trick. It’s just our monkey brains trying to protect us.
When you think about it, at the very least subconsciously, we feel uncomfortable with change. We as humans like habits and predictability. Doubt is just proof that we have made it to our destination. Stick with me now. When we have achieved our manifestation, even if it’s just in the 4D, our subconscious doesn’t always know what to do. This is a new mindset, a new lifestyle, new habits, all this change. Our monkey brains struggle to handle it. So it adds in doubt, to try and reel you back into your old way of life, before the manifestation.
“What if this is too good to be true?”
“What if this is only temporary?”
“What if it all goes wrong?”
It’s just our brains implying “we should just go back to our old way of living. It’s more safe and predictable.”
Maybe you’ve had a bad experience in the past, where you’ve manifested something and lost it. But the thing is, the past no longer exists. What’s done is done. No turning back. The future doesn’t exist either, which is why your brain hates the uncertainty and creates doubt. All you can do is focus on the present moment. Who do you want to be this current second? The version of you with your desires. That’s all you can do.
It especially happens when your manifestations are still yet to play out in the 3D, your brain can work with doubt more, convince you more that you should just play it safe.
It’s why when you persist, your monkey brain has no choice but to adapt. It’s uncomfortable, but it’s ur brain doing its job. Then you develop the habits of your desired self and that becomes the new norm, your new baseline. When you remain true to your desired reality.
Replace “what if it goes wrong?”, with “what if it goes right?”. Condition your mind to the idea of everything working out in your favour. You will be unstoppable.
2026 is the year for peace and love dude I’m not letting all that gross energy from 2025 follow me.
2026 is the year I move in silence where instead of trying to prove to others my worth, I prove it to myself instead. I will love myself so much this year that I won’t be phased by the opinions of others.
2026 is the year I finally allow myself to transform in the healthiest, most abundant, and highest version of myself. I refuse to allow others, and especially myself, to hold me back.
To be empowered—to be free, to be unlimited, to be creative, to be genius, to be divine—that is who you are…. Once you feel this way, memorize this feeling; remember this feeling. This is who you really are…
Joe Dispenza
1. “Persist, persist, persist.”
It shifts all responsibility onto the believer. If something doesn’t happen, you’re told it’s because you didn’t persist enough. It’s endless blame with no room for reality, luck, or outside circumstances.
2. “It’s done.” / “It’s already yours.”
It encourages people to deny reality and avoid taking real action. Believers may sit around waiting for things to magically appear instead of making concrete moves.
3. “You are the operant power.”
It inflates a false sense of control while secretly making you the scapegoat when things go wrong. If you’re the “operant power,” then every failure is automatically your fault.
4. “Deny your senses/ ignore the 3d.”
It literally tells people not to trust their lived experience. That’s gaslighting, making reality itself “wrong” if it doesn’t match the belief system.
5. “Live in the end.”
This encourages delusion by pretending you already have something you don’t. It can foster detachment from responsibilities, finances, and relationships in the real world.
6. “Nothing exists outside of your assumptions.”
This isolates people into a solipsistic mindset where outside perspectives, science, or evidence are dismissed as “just assumptions.” It’s anti-critical thinking.
7. “There is no such thing as free will.”
Why it’s toxic: It strips others of humanity and reduces them to objects in your fantasy. That can normalize manipulative or abusive thinking toward others.
8. “If you don’t see it, it means you’re not persisting enough.”
Another built-in blame mechanism. No matter what happens, the believer is at fault for not “trying hard enough.”
Currently transforming my every day routine bc I’ve realised that I am the problem bruh 🥀
Sometimes you really are in fact the reason ur manifestations aren’t coming to fruition, bc although u may not be your mind, it still remains the root cause of your progression and setbacks in life.
Won’t catch me online as much, I’m still debating whether or not to temporarily delete the app (for the umpteenth time), because I’ve found myself too comfortable here, trying to help people here than actually help myself.
The biggest truth I have to share here (whether it’s just for me, or anyone who does stumble across this post) is that YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR YOUR MANIFESTATIONS. THEY ARE WAITING FOR YOU, BUT YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY TAKE THE INITIATIVE.
Whether it’s internal work, or external work, you can’t always sit around moping and waiting around for it to just poof out of thin air, idgaf what anyone on this app says, I will die on that hill.
For example, one of the most common things ppl manifest here is dream body. You guys are asking the universe the wrong questions.
People assume that obtaining this requires extreme calorie changes, throwing your back out at the gym, a very tiring and difficult process. THATS AN ASSUMPTION!!! THATS WHAT YOU ARE PUTTING OUT INTO THE UNIVERSE. It’s only further delaying this dream body you want more!!
Manifest an easy and enjoyable process. Manifest the motivation and opportunities to achieve your desires. And the universe will bibbidy-bobbidy ur manifestations in no time.
When I say relax, I don’t mean to sit around and do nothing. I mean don’t fucking tweak out and check the 3D every few seconds.
So for the love of all that is good, please stop doomscrolling because it really is that damn phone. You don’t need the newest manifestation technique, or anyone else to tell you how to live your life. YOU have all the power, but you actually have to utilise it.
Ik im not the only one who has struggled/ struggles with this, so I hope this reaches people (or even one person) who needs to hear it.
When I return, trust I’ll be 10x mentally and physically hotter xoxo
Yall will never catch me tweaking over delayed manifestations, cus I just know that the universe is perfecting everything to make sure I get everything I want and more.
While I wait, imma just sit around looking pretty 🧘♀️
Just a reminder:
I want something because I have it = I have something because I want it.
Having and wanting don’t have to be two separate words.
But wanting/having something ≠ needing something
Needing comes from lack.
For example, if you need a romantic partner, that’s because you want love. However, you have love. Love is constantly surrounding you. Whether it be in your family and friends, or your hobbies, you want love because you have it. If you need appearance changes, it’s because you want beauty. However, beauty is constantly surrounding you, it’s your flawless face card, it’s the mundane things in life, the sunsets you watch, you are beauty.
You don’t need to chase it. You’re just chasing a part of yourself in someone/something else.
When you stop separating wanting and having, you become confident enough in yourself that you don’t need to double and triple check the 3D for validation, you just know that the furthest it could be is right around the corner.
yall I impulsively deleted tumblr for a bit but now I’ve relapsed into my tumblr addiction againnnnn 🤞🤞
Wanting doesn’t keep you in a state of lack. You can only want what’s already yours. That’s the whole point.
Idk how controversial this will be, but I’m sick of hearing it, so here’s my take:
Do you hear how hilariously backwards that sounds? You’re exhausted and want to sleep tonight. Does that mean you won’t sleep?
You’re hungry and want lunch. Does that desire block you from getting up and eating?
You miss your friends and want to see them. Does that yearning stop you from texting them to hang out?
“Oh, but those are examples of stuff that’s guaranteed in this reality and has nothing to do with shifting.”
Aren’t you the same people saying we shift every second, that choosing the pink dress over the green one is shifting, that walking to the kitchen is shifting, that any choice, any movement, any focus is a shift? Sooooo…?
Why would wanting to shift suddenly place an invisible curse over your head, like some ticking time bomb set to “never”?
“Oh, but you can’t want what you already have.”
Girl you ONLY want what you already have. That’s the whole point. All of your desires are things within your awareness. You want them because they’re already yours. You already have them. SO YOU DESIRE THEM. THAT’S NATURAL.
You want the clothes in your closet, right? You want to wear them. Or no? Okay, then go toss your entire wardrobe in the street since “you can’t want what you already have.”
You want water when you’re thirsty. You want rest when you’re tired. You want air every time you breathe. Desire isn’t an enemy, it’s evidence you care. It’s the compass your awareness uses to direct you into receiving what’s already yours.
You don’t need to sterilize your humanity to shift. You don’t need to become an emotionless mannequin to get what you want. Your wanting is your signal, your engine, your proof that you’re alive.
And if you truly believe wanting blocks you, guess what? That’s your assumption, your law, your little custom command you’ve scrawled into your reality rule-book. Make like the law of assumption does and assume it’s bullshit.
Wanting doesn’t block you.
Moreover, I’ve found that focusing on what you want helps you manifest faster. And it helps you shift. Because it’s already something that happens regularly.
Haven’t you ever had those funny “coincidences” where you think about something you really want—and then it shows up? It didn’t happen because you were ignoring your desire or suppressing how you wanted it. It happened because you located what you wanted, your awareness locked on, you observed it, so it happened to you.
This idea that you need to suppress something as basic as desire, just because it “signals to your awareness that you don’t have it yet,” is kind of… nonsense. So what, you think your awareness—the very faculty through which you observe reality—is stupid?
You don’t need to neuter yourself to shift. Desire is not a sign of lack. It’s evidence of alignment.
“But wanting something means I don’t have it yet.”
Flip it. You want something because you already have it. Your awareness wouldn’t even recognize it to want it if it weren’t already within your awareness.
You think: “I want this because I don’t have it.”
Correct yourself: “I want this because it’s already mine, and my desire is the proof that it’s already available to me.”
What you focus on, what you decide, unfolds before you. Desire is observation, and what you observe becomes your reality. You observe what you are (assume). The only reason you’ve been taught to fear desire is because you assume it’s a sign of lack. So assume the opposite.
Assume/realize/decide that the only reason you want it is because you already have it.
Edit: I’m sure I don’t need to tell you how there’s cases where letting go and no longer wanting to shift have been beneficial, but like.......do you really think that’s the case for everyone??
I myself never had a single moment where I didn’t want to shift before I started shifting regularly. And every time I shift now, I always want it. Every time I manifest something, It’s because I want it. And wanting = already having.
So I think this stems from the idea that you need to stop caring about your desire to finally have it. But okay, think of it like this:
Suppose you want an orange. In order to get the orange, you were told to act like you didn’t care for the orange, to not want it, because you already have it.
So you get the orange!
Can I take the orange away since you don’t care for it?? CAN I THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW? I THOUGHT YOU DIDN’T WANT IT, SO CAN I THROW IT AWAY?? NO?? WHY?? OHHH IT’S BECAUSE YOU CARE FOR THE ORANGE MOTHER FFUDJSHAGAHAJA*sounds of me crashing out*
3D versus 4D
It can be hard sometimes when manifesting, when you feel so aligned in the 4D however the 3D is showing you something else. I did active imagination to figure out what to do to stay in alignment with my manifestations and I was told to say this phrase every time I saw something in the 3D that contradicts the 4D, and I feel like it’s the best way for me to set boundaries with and release the 3D so the 4D can come into alignment.
“I accept you, however I release you as you no longer align with me.”
With manifesting it can become very easy go into a lack mindset and become a victim of the 3D. You become you’re own energy vampire. Just remember, anything you want and more is achievable, the only thing stopping you is YOU.
Active Imagination: Unlocking the answers from within yourself
Everything I have posted so far is as reminders for myself, but this one is for you, because it truly was a game changer for me. I haven’t heard of anyone talking about it yet, but I feel like if more people understood how to harness it, not only would you become enlightened on so many levels, but you would literally become a MASTER MANIFESTOR. I don’t gain much of a following on here so if you see this it might just be for you! Forewarning - this is a long ass read
I feel like we are told that the answers are within ourselves, but how do we access the truth? Fortune cards and other people’s guidance can only do so much, but who knows you better than anyone else on this planet? Who knows how your mind truly works, what you’ve been through, and what works best for you? YOU.
As someone with ADHD, if you put a gun up to my head and told me to meditate, I’d probably just tell you to pull the trigger bc I swear that shit is sooooo hard. But I guess active imagination is like a form of meditation, so let me get into that:
For starters, 2 books that are a MUST READ
1. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle - I’m sure you’ve heard of it you’re a part of any manifesting community. Discusses the power of the present moment, and how to gain true consciousness and simply be.
2. Ecstasy: Understanding the Psychology of Joy by Robert A. Johnson - I swear nobody talks about this book but it quite literally changed my perspective on everything. It uses Dionysus, the Greek god of ecstasy and wine as an archetype, discussing the feeling of ecstasy, and how to obtain it, mentioning Active Imagination.
Eckhart Tolle emphasises being completely focused on the present moment. Every time you look back to the past, or imagine the future, you are borrowing time from the now to do so, therefore everything that ever was, and ever will be, is in the now. He also emphasises that YOU ARE NOT YOUR MIND. He asks you to look at your emotions and thoughts from this third person view ig, and recognise that they are not you. It’s hard to explain, so you’re gonna have to read it yourself. Why do I mention this? Because harnessing this gets you into a state of PURE CONSCIOUSNESS. The number of people I see complaining they can’t get into the void, as if it’s some unattainable location and literally not just a state of pure consciousness from within you is absolutely abysmal, but I digress. Pure consciousness is where your conscious and subconscious mind become one. To understand active imagination to its full extent, you have to understand pure conciousness!
Now, what the fuck is active imagination?
“Active Imagination, a technique developed by Carl Jung some decades ago, is a wonderful way to enter into the mythic reality while maintaining ordinary reality. In active imagination you can enter into a conversation with different parts of yourself that live in your unconscious….” “The imagination is neither conscious nor unconscious, but rather what lies between the two. Here, on the meeting ground of imagination, the ego and the archetype can speak as equals, each learning from the other.” - Ecstasy
The archetype he demonstrates with is Dionysus (obviously). In this state, you can talk to any deity or dogma you want, but if you’re like me, who doesn’t necessarily believe in all that (no shade, just personal belief - btw Eckhart Tolle emphasises that no matter what religion you follow, they all ultimately prove that the light is within oneself), my archetype is my highest self. She looks like the version of me I want, dream body and all, and I feel she lies within my subconscious, and my yet-to-be accessed potential. When I create a dialogue with her, she comforts me, she talks to me, and she tells me what I need to hear, not what I want to hear, all so I can be the best version of myself I want to be. Considering she is me, she’s sort of like my own personal perfectly curated therapist, because she always helps me understand the way I think, why, and what I’m supposed to learn.
When I started, I decided to journal it, so before I go into how to enter this state, I will give you personal examples of how the dialogue with you and your archetype may go (forewarning - it’s a lot of rambling but it’s relevant and makes sense to me, since active imagination is subjective):
My first time - “As i close my eyes i see a blue energy, and i find myself in the clouds, and a cloud next to me i see my highest self sitting on a cloud, watching below. I go over to her and say hi, she says hi back, i asked her how she is and she says she’s fine, and she asks me how I am, and i say i’m curious. She asks about what, i respond with anything and everything i guess, and she wants to show me something, she holds my hand and takes me to this wheat field. We walk through it, she tells me to follow along and i ask her about manifesting. she refers to me as child, i ask her why she would refer to me as that considering we are one, and she explains that it wasn’t supposed to be in a demeaning way, but that im curious and confused like one so it suits. I ask her if she is all-knowing, and she explains not necessarily, but she knows what the universe wants her to know for now. As we are walking through the fields i see these tall cute purple flowers. On the other side of the field there’s a small forest, just lots of trees, nothing significant, i ask her where we are going and she asks me to be patient and that it’s my ego talking or something, we are just going for a walk. We land at a sunny empty beach, she says we should just stroll and chat, so we do. I see dolphins in the sea, splashing around and she admires the beauty of them, while in my head all i think about is how dolphins are kind of weird, and i ask if there’s some symbolism behind this, what the meaning of them being here is. She tells me that there’s not any meaning behind them really, and i shouldn’t always look into everything so personally, i should just let things be. Like im on my path and everything that happens to me is for a reason, and the same goes for the dolphins so to just let them be. I tell her about my fears with manifestation, how part of me is always, even if it’s a little, afraid that it’s not coming true. She told me it’s natural, but what i didn’t notice about when i was in my “prime” to my current state is how before i was simply open to receiving, not having this need for control. How curiosity is something i should have, but not to be in control, but just simply know, yk? it’s a creative way of thinking, and that creativity and curiosity essentially go hand-in-hand, and that’s what makes me happy. I asked her how should i be creative and she said to draw. She could tell i liked those flowers and she knows i love the beach, so maybe draw something like that. If i want to be curious and creative, try that out instead of stencilling something. It keeps things fresh ig? She then summarised everything as we sit on the beach, bc she knows how i forget, by saying that the key to my manifestation is being open-minded, being curious and creative, but not to be in control, but just to simply enjoy and be happy. Be happy about knowing things, be patient, and be open-minded. she takes me back up to the clouds, I say thank you, she says of course and that i’m welcome to join her again any time.”
My 3rd time - “I’m at a pond looking at the mushrooms and witchety grubs, its mystical forest vibes, very fairy. This time was a lot more causal than the others, I asked her if constantly coming back to her all the time for answers was excessive, and she was like not necessarily, like why wait to find the answers when they’re right inside of you? she speaks facts haha, i told her that this was a cute new location, and she was like ikr. I asked to rest my head in her lap and she allowed me, it was nice comforting myself yk? I ask her what is holding me back from my desires, and tells me i have all the answers in front of me i’m just asking the wrong questions, like “why am i not receiving?” instead of “why am i not allowing myself to receive?”. She reminded me that it had been less than 36hrs of me actively manifesting, and i’m there wondering why results aren’t coming easily. I haven’t given myself time to receive them, and im essentially forcing myself into this lack mindset. Like i keep feeling worried im going to return back to square one, but the issue is i’m playing the wrong game, i’m playing baseball instead of tennis. Baseball is exaggerated and all about control and shit when i should be playing tennis, and it’s me serving what i want to the universe and the universe serving it back. Like if i show the universe my self love then the universe will put me in more places and situations and give me more opportunities to love myself even more. Give it time and effort and allow my manifestations to reach me. She also told me about how i allow other to put me into this box i guess, or i determine my life and myself based on their expectations of me. Back when i really was in a manifesting mindset i kind of stuck to myself and anyone i wanted or i felt would encourage what i want, avoiding the people who didn’t make me feel like my dreams were achievable. Like these people weren’t necessarily actively telling me I couldn’t get the life I want, but i made it feel like they were. It was mostly an illusion, just like how comparison is, where comparison impacts the value of my life while the expectations i feel being held against me determine me. I’m not those expectations so stop allowing myself to be put in this box. Don’t allow the external to determine the value of my life and who i am.”
Now in these entries, although they aren’t grammatically correct in the slightest, you can see I have direct dialogue with my subconscious, although I recognise we are one. She is explaining to me how my mind works, truthfully, and what I can learn from it to become a better version of myself. It is quite literally my subconscious feeding what I need to know into my conscious mind.
Now you know what Active Imagination is, where do you begin?
“Active Imagination does not consist of ‘making things up’. You simply allow information that you already possess, but of which you have no conscious awareness, to come to the surface.” - Ecstasy
With pure consciousness and harnessing the power of the now, you do not plan these interactions. Before you enter, you’re not thinking of where you want to meet your archetype, all you need to do is focus on what you are seeing in your mind in that current moment.
Ecstasy states “Active Imagination has some similarity to dreaming, in that you don’t censor the flow of images; but during active imagination you are fully awake. Also, as the name implies, it is not passive fantasy. You do not watch an inner drama as you would watch a movie; rather, you become an actor in the drama. Your conscious ego actively engages in conversation with the symbolic images thrown up by your imagination.”
To enter Active Imagination, you will need to be in a quiet, private place. It’s also recommended to document what happens, like how I did, because you can easily forget.
Now back to The Power of Now. I mention this because when you enter this state, you need to “empty your ego mind of expectation, and let the images flow”. To do that, you must be focused on the present moment, in that state of pure consciousness. You need to separate yourself from your mind, your emotions, your thoughts, so your conscious can truly pick up what the subconscious is trying to put down.
As Ecstasy states, “You should not find yourself putting words in their mouths or directing the flow of the conversation.”
“If you relax and keep an open mind, the images of your Active Imagination will communicate effortlessly.” - with this, if you’re confused by something, don’t be scared to ask for clarification! In my first entry, I see the dolphins, and I ask my higher self what they mean, and she explains (their lack of symbolism to me, and to just let things that aren’t in my control just be).
Final thoughts:
Having open and open flow of communication to your subconscious is like having your own personalised ChatGPT! Don’t be scared of it, it is your safe space. I have gone there to interpret dreams, when I’m bored, to manifest, to learn, and if it has taught me anything, it is that I will always be there for myself. It has truly taught me self love and spiritual enlightenment to their fullest extents. Active Imagination is such an easy tool, and is so so so powerful!!
If you have made it this far and you decide to try it out, let me know how it goes! Even if nobody does make it this far or bothers trying it out, I’m now given comfort in knowing I’m using my knowledge for good. 💗
A weird manifesting analogy; scabs.
When you have a scratch or an injury that turns into a scab, you don’t think much of it. Why? Because you know your body will renew the skin and in no time the scab will be gone. But if you pick at the scab, making it bleed, it only gets more irritated, and the scab takes longer to heal. Nevertheless it heals, once you finally let it be and leave it alone.
Hear me out now… the 3D is like a scab.
When you’re manifesting, a lot of the time you find yourself checking the 3D for validation, but when you don’t see the results, you let your negative thoughts take over. “Is manifesting even real?” “Am I just wasting my time?”, “am I ever going to manifest xyz?”, “why isn’t it working for me?”.
You might even notice slight results, hints from the universe that your manifestation is coming through, and then you solely focus on the 3D. You start to pick at it, thinking that it’s helping, when in reality it is only delaying, only going to stir negative thoughts when your results aren’t coming fast/ drastically enough. The scab only gets worse. “Why isn’t it coming fast enough?”, “What am I doing wrong?”. You’re picking at the scab, that’s what you’re doing wrong.
Pay no attention to the scab, you know it’s going to heal, but you need to just leave it alone = pay no attention to the 3D, you know you’re manifestations are coming through, but you just need to let it be. (Even if it is just in the 4D for a while)
You are no exception to the laws of the universe. Everything happens for a reason and sometimes you just need to take the passenger seat as the universe takes you to your destination.
Feel. Just feel. It’s hard, those negative feelings aren’t always easy to process, but stop bottling them up. Cry it out, use a journal, whatever you need to, is better than letting it grow within you. Once you allow those feelings to flow, you will release them and your mind will feel more clear, so you can figure out what you really want, and you’ll now have the space in your heart to pursue that.
Out with the old, and in with the new <3
