One day flambae catches Robert rubbing the side of his stomach, he makes fun of him for it at first "haha bob Bob, pulled a muscle or something?" But notices it seems to be almost a nervous habit. Not to long after they get together flambae wakes up earlier in the morning than he typically does, and sees Robert in the corner of his eye, shirt off, rubbing cream into a large scar he hasn't noticed before.
(I don't know any of the correct terms for Robert taking care of his scars!!! If anyone with more knowledge than me or is a burn victim themselves, please help me out here 😭)
"hey bob *yawn* -ert whatcha doing?"
The sun was streaming in through the window, draping over Roberts shirtless form.
without turning around Robert let's out a shallow breath,
"Tending my scars. You know, scar cream, numbing cream, burn cream-"
Flambae, suddenly very awake
"burn cream?"
His eyes narrowed, suddenly studying the back of roberts body very closley
"yes chad burn cream because when you have burns you-"
Flambae, about to burst into flame mutters, looking robert, who has particularly turned his head to look flambae
"Who burned you"
Chad's face didn't betray it but his eyes were like embers, ready to burst into flame any minute now.
"Chad what? Seriously-"
He was cut off almost immediately
'WHO DID IT ROBERT.
A moment of silence. Roberts breath catches, and he turns, revealing a mess of scars. Flambae has seen Robert toppless before, given it was in the dark, but he doesn't know how he could have missed this.
when the mech was in the fire some of the metal melted. It got my hip and some of my stomach.
Roberts voice is shaking now, like he's scared- scared of what scared of chad? Scared he'd do it again scared that-
"I-"
"You didn't do anything chad."
That was wrong. It HAD to be wrong, that's what chad does, messes stuff up, he isn't built for the long term, not in relationships, not in life, he was the guy who went to prison young, the guy who deleted the number from his phone the moment they were done, he was the fuckup.
"I- I did EVERYTHING@ fuck robert I burned you- I've constantly hurt you you can't just- LOVE ME. Not after hurting you."
Roberts eyes softened, clearly about to go all soft on him. This wasnt- ugh he didn't need this, he SHOULDNT need this.
"Chad. I love you with every fibre of my being I cut off your finger, that same night and i swear to god if constant cuddling and makeing out has meant nothing to you-"
Flambae let's out a offended little snort
"has meant nothing to you we need to talk."
And wasn't that just what he needed to hear.
No- it. It has. I just- fuck were a messy couple aren't we.
Robert laughed
"Yeah. Yeah we are."
"Love you chad."
"I love you to robert."

Summary:
Sonar was born blind, but because he can "see" with his echolocation, he makes the mistake of not telling anyone.
That decision comes back to bite him in the ass when, during a call gone wrong, he temporarily loses his hearing and can no longer hear his echolocation.

Ok, I happen to adore the "flambae has a cat" headcannon so here are my thoughts
Flambae fished this cat out of a dumpster, litterally in it that he was walking out of his favourite restaurant and heard yowling from a nearby alley, and figuratively as the no matter how many salon treatments, at home spa days, and brushing attempts flambae makes, his cat allways just looks like it's been in a fight.
Flambae really values his cat, when he fished it from the dumpster he was fresh into the phoenix program, and felt like he didn't deserve to be there, but that cat was the first time he felt like a hero.
Prism pampers the hell out of this cat, it has its own social media accounts, she's constantly making sure flambae has the bougie cat food, and just occasionally has cat nip on her person somewhere.
This kinda all culminates on a mission when for some reason or another prism forgot to remove said cat nip from her person and is jumped by a bunch of cats in a alley.
Hr ends up stepping in while flambae awkwardly explains that prism just REALLY likes his cat.
The cats name isn't a pun, flambaes to "classy" for that, but it probably is somewhat related to him, Smokey, Smore, Flicker, Spark. All that jazz.
I have yet to pull this back to flambert but feel free to yell in the comments about how much robert adores this cat ✨️
A robert who is into fashion, somewhere along the way of messing with the mech he decides to learn to sew and it just evolves from there. He took a few course and is quite good at it, but doesn't have a model to work with. After the coma he's sort of lost motivation to do any sort of hobby, but when he see's flambaes suit he is filled with a new passion, and starts creating these beautiful fire inspired peices, (ones that he's very ashamed to admit are inspired by flambae 👀) one day, for one reason or another prism crashes his house while he's working on one, and somehow convinces him to submit them to a competition. In said competition he I'd promptly picked as the winner and comes to work delighted the next day.
Flambae: HEY *snaps fingers* bob Bob I was talking to you.
Robert: huh?
Flambae: I was asking- Mr daydreamer, what the fuck has you so happy- you aren't usually, y'know, a smiling type of person.
Robert: oh. What, no it's fine. It's fine.
Robert proceeded to spend the entire day smiling.
