Anirudh is replacing Ryan next weekend.
Can someone please ask Anirudh about The Look between Ravi and Eddie at the club in 9x07? I'd love to know what he thought Ravi was thinking.

I would actually love an Eddie POV telenovela style episode for Buddie canon.
Picture it - Eddie realises his feelings for Buck and spends an episode or two being weird, pulling away, avoiding Buck, leaving Buck baffled and hurt. The next episode begins and we see Eddie watching a telenovela, then we see from his POV that his yearning for Buck is so intense, he's starting to feel like he's in a telenovela of his own. Like he's staring at Buck as Buck emerges all sexy and dirty from a fire, the cinematography changes, everything is slow-mo and dramatic music and a zoom on Eddie's face, then Hen or Chim comes up to him and snaps him out of his daze and it all goes back to normal. And then obviously it all culminates in a big fight in the rain, Eddie confesses his love, they kiss and the episode ends.

Forever going to be mourning the Good Omens 3 we could have had. Not because I hated the ending (I actually loved it), but because of all the little moments we missed out on by it being condensed down to 90 minutes. More time spent on plot lines that seemed really interesting. More Muriel, more Joshua/Jesus, maybe the return of characters from seasons 1 and 2. And of course more time with Aziraphale and Crowley (and Asa and Anthony too!). There also should've been a press tour and a farewell feature that was longer that 6 minutes. (All I can hope for now is that there will be a box set with bonus features.)
Overall, I felt they did the absolute best they could with the cards they were delt, and I'm enormously grateful we got anything at all. But there's a part of me that will always be sad it didn’t get the proper final season it deserved.
Fuck you N*il G*iman. I hope you have the life you deserve 🖕

I know people just want excuses to doom. But it's so funny to me that people genuinely believe that 911 can just write a woman between Buck and Eddie now and make it work. You mean you think there's a way to write a sane woman who will voluntarily start dating Eddie, when Eddie is not only co-parenting his teenager with his best friend, but also is co-parenting his single and very much bisexual best friend's toddler. There are support systems and then there is whatever they are setting up with buddie and Theo. It's not even just the backlash from buddie fans, it's from anyone with 2 braincells to rub together. There's a limit on how far you can take the "I'm Buck, this is my husband Eddie, that's our kids Chris and Theo, that's Eddie no last name girlfriend, this is my underdeveloped sexual partner" before it's just ridiculous. They were already bending to the point of breakage, Theo makes it insane. Like, genuinely. Like, the concept of introducing someone in S10, in the middle of buddie becoming a family of 4, would never fly because it would just be extremely underwhelming, no matter what they did. That's the thing with trying to compete with the best friends slowburn now. It's been 9 seasons of them. And now they are a family of 4. Anything else is gonna be unsatisfying.
The silliest thing I find about this whole "they only got 30 years together in the end with no memories of their shared history so what was the point" is that EVERYONE THINKS THEY ONLY MET EACH OTHER IN THIS ONE SINGULAR LIFETIME REALITY instead of my immediate thought that as its architects, Aziraphale and Crowley were wound so deep into the fabric of the new universe that there is a version of them finding each other and falling in love every single generation for billions and billions of years??????
A Roman version and a French Revolution version and a WWII version and ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND---
For goodness sake the song that plays over this version of them finding and falling in love is "Time After Time"! THE IMPLICATION IS THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS FIND EACH OTHER!!!!!! ***ALWAYS*** IN EVERY LIFETIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New interview with Ryan.
Hilariously, this is how Andy Swift decided to twist Ryan's words for a headline:
He was clearly hoping he'd get an anti-Buddie answer, instead Ryan basically said it's Buck or celibacy and any woman who goes near Eddie won't last anyway. So now he's just lying for clicks. 🙄
I'm seeing some people say that Professor Anthony Crowley felt like a totally different character from our Crowley and I have to disagree. That was Crowley unburdened by anger and bitterness and betrayal and abandonment. That was Crowley as he was in the beginning:
Enthralled by the universe, full of wonder and curiosity and a desire to know what it all is and how it all works.
Fuck Neil Gaiman.
I am immensely grateful to everyone involved in Good Omens 3 for giving us closure and not letting that split screen be the last time we saw them. But absolutely fuck Neil Gaiman because that story was too big to squeeze into 90 minutes. If we'd had six episodes to build the mystery, raise the stakes, get to know Jesus, let Aziraphale and Crowley really talk to each other, that could have been incredible. Instead what we got was rushed, incoherent and messy. It was made with love and I'm glad it exists but they, and we, deserved so much better.
