The parallels between lancer and Kris due to their relationships with their father and the cool older girl in their lives brings rouxls kaards many gasterism’s into question. I wonder if in some way, his relationship to lancer parallels gasters relationship to Kris. Weather that be deltarune Gaster being their therapist or maybe Kris and our gaster actually know each other cause of bunker shenanigans

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT. Okay idea idea. What if Rouxls’ gasterism’s isn’t making him a direct parallel of gaster, but instead of sans. With his blue coloring and (though a stretch) similar posing.

Both people who pretend not to know the kid, but really care about them. (See rouxl’s Kaards shop dialogue about the kings son)

What if sans and Kris are working together. It’s already common consensus that sans was trying to protect toriel by keeping her away from the church. And Kris does the exact same thing in chapter 2/3. Where they lure undyne into the shelter so the knight takes her instead of toriel.

Sans is related to Gaster. Duh. So wouldn’t it make sense that sans is in on whatever the hell gaster is doing? Maybe he’s not fully on board with the plan.

Either way the thought of Kris seeing sans as a lesser dad would fit with how sans is pretty much asgore but better. He’s running a fairly successful shop, lives with his family (supposedly), leaves the Dreemurr’s fridge fully stocked, and is in very good graces with Toriel. And the first thing we’re able to say to him being great to see you again & who the hell are you? Lends credence to the idea that they’ve met before. Especially considering, despite what the ending of chapter 1 wants you to believe, Kris is a very kind person. And I don’t think that’s how they would greet someone for the first time 😭 and if you say “great to see you again”, sans responds with a wink. I feel like since this was in chapter 1 everyone overlooked this interaction and never looked back but this is so suspicious. Especially because all our text options are FROM Kris (at least it’s most likely that that’s the case).

That said, my headcanon is that, while he is dense when it comes to irl innuendos, his media literacy is so high that you could present him with the most allegorical, metaphorical, subtle references to intimacy in literature/art/music and he would actually get it IMMEDIATELY.
