Finally got around to using screentones again. Featuring @flashkirby's OC Paige. I even remembered to record a timelapse! :)

We have finally reached the end of 2025 and what a year of all time it was. A lot of art things happened, including my very first Art Fight, a birthday art series, and character designs for upcoming projects. Regular practice has definitely helped with my speed and confidence!

Legends of the celtic fairy (or a witch, depending on who you ask) cait-sìth don't have much to say visually, other than a white patch of chest fur on an larger-than-average black cat. Their stories come primarily from spoken word and poems, and not well illustrated outside of the famous King of Cats tale.

Cait-sith have a lot of weird lore attached to them such as

running a secret cat high society

cursing cows to stop them from being milked

stealing the souls of the departed before they reach the lands of the dead

being distracted by milk, catnip, and heat

You may notice this is just a cat.

I had so much fun with this one! I've been trying to be less careful and more messy with my art lately, and it's both freeing and stressful. Learning to let go and let things be imperfect is a process.
