We have to talk about violets, my favorite medicinal spring flower!
Violets are ruled by Venus (taurus + libra) and the element of water.
As i write this, Venus is making her way through the sign of Taurus and violets are just now starting to bloom here in my part of Virginia. It’s time to hit all of the violet patches I know of and collect these ephemeral flowers before they disappear.
Mild laxative depending on dose

infused into an oil/vinegar/honey
make a violet lemonade or flower ice cubes
use as a salad or cake topping or and any other creative way you can use edible flowers. the mucilaginous quality of the green leaves can be used to help thicken soups and add nutrients to any dish.
