I love working on Sunday mornings and seeing some customers dressed so nicely in their pretty dresses, shirts, and suits as they come back from church.

I tried using yesterday's bamboo pen with the ink, but it was very ineffective , so I carved a new one. This one works much much better.

My first attempt at writing the letter "alif ", definetly looks very chaotic so far but i'm excited for the progress to come.

Today, I attempted making a bamboo qalam out of an old stick of bamboo I found in the shed, since ordering one from Turkey would be too expensive. I'm not completely sure how I feel about the result

I will buy some ink and see how well it works.
