Create A Town Challenge

This is inspired by the Sims 2 Build a City Challenge.

Getting Started:

Starting in Newcrest or any world that has been emptied, you will roll to see how many households you start with between 1 and 5. These households may contain more than one sim but must have only YA through elder sims; that means no babies, toddlers, children or teens.

The first sim you make will be your ‘Mayor’ and they will need to be in the Political career under the Politician branch. Other households may have whatever job you want, see ‘Unlocking with Jobs’ for more info.

You may not use the freerealestate cheat to move sims in. Build them a home with whatever money they come with. Rotate between households however often you want so you can play as many careers as you can.

Unlocking With Jobs:

The following careers will unlock new buildings for the town.

Athlete - Body Builder Level 5 Personal Trainer : Gyms

Culinary - Chef Level 6 Head Caterer : Restaurants

Culinary - Mixologist Level 6 Head Mixologist : Bars

Entertainer - Level 4 Opening Act : Lounges and Nightclubs

Painter -  Level 6 Imaginative Imagist : Museums

Politician - Politician Level 6 Public Official : Town Hall (Optional since it’s not an actual lot type)

Writer - Author Level 6 Short Story Writer : Libraries

Unlocking with Population:

At certain population numbers you reach you unlock other lot types for your town.

5 Sims : Parks and Cafes

10 Sims : Pools

15 Sims : Hospital and Doctor Career

20 Sims : Police Department and Detective Career

25 Sims : Science Center and Scientist Career

30 Sims: Spas

NEW SIMBLR ALERT! sul sul!

Whilst I think this is the fourth-ish time I’ve started a new blog, it’s always just as exciting as the very first. If you’ve been on simblr for a while you might remember Pasimmerday, dust-spirits, or fleurdesouci (which I still use, but only to find CC nowadays) - in which case, a warm hello to old friends! And if not, a fresh hello to new ones.

I have been playing the Sims franchise for a long time: it’s one of the ways in which I love to express my creativity. In the Sims 4 I build overly detailed lots, create quirky sims to live in them, and sometimes even play the game! I’d love to share this with you all on this blog, so if you’re interested be sure to give me a little follow.

I’m also going to be starting some Twitch streaming soon! This will be a regular thing for me once my uni work is finished, so if you’re into that sort of thing give me a follow over on Twitch to be notified when I stream.

To make herself feel better, Selina bought herself a lump of clay at the Flea Market and is now having the time of her life!

He didn’t like being flirted with while someone else was in the conversation, and Selina was evidently a bit too eager. She wrapped up the conversation as the festival started to close. But I don’t think this is over!

While at the romance festival, she met a cute npc who struck up a conversation with her...

I sent Selina to the romance festival to try out some ramen. She looks so cute with that pink glow!

When you try to fix the computer by yourself and end up shocking yourself and starting a fire... I expect nothing less from the Sims

I got her a bike because I haven’t really used one much in Sims - I like it! It’s a nice way to get around Windenburg.

(Also this hair doesn’t have a hat chop, but the helmet really doesn’t look too bad!)

She had a whim to do a dance workout, and I’d never done one before so I let her at it - it is rather adorable
