“Happy Christmas Eve!” Ginny exclaimed, smiling brightly and Pansy blinked twice, stunned before her voice carried out in a deadpan. “I’m Jewish.” Pansy leaned on the door jam, crossing her arms over her chest as she watched the Weasley’s eyes widen in shock. “Uhm. Happy Hanukkah?” She offered, a more sheepish smile spreading over her face. “It hasn’t ended, has it?” Spending the holidays inside their home from 2002 to 2015.

Hermione might have forgotten to mention that she would be alone for the holidays due to a few less than jolly circumstances.
