âWell, you do have a cat and a dog now,â Jane sensed there was more to the sentence that had been dropped off but secrets and lies are something they all have. Jane has secrets, big ones too that she would die if they got out. Xavier was a past that keeps her up at night but as long as she can push things away into a box she is great. The moment her thoughts drift to long to him she pushes it back. He was the one that gave Raven to Jane, they had been just newly dating at the time and well, Jane had been wanting another pet for a while, always talking about it and he had used that knowledge to get it. He wasnât always controlling, spiteful, untrusting in fact there were times he was the opposite and it made the whole thing harder. âThree pets is a good start for us. I must say that I can see that we might have a future filled with pets.â And babies. Jane wants that, she wants children to raise but it is too soon to talk about children, besides the chances of an opps Iâm pregnant in this relationship was zero so that is wonderful. She could have all the time in the world to have children. She is nineteen and wants to spend time getting to know the other before they decide children were in order. âIâm a sucker for a good crime novel,â Heros to save the day is what she loves. She wants to believe the world can be saved from all the pain and heartache. She wants to believe that abusers donât win in the end, at least not all of the time.âWe shall have a lot of fun outside when the weather isnât dreadful.â She could see Bailey tugging at Fleurâs dress making her give the attention from the plants to the dog that still insists that she is two instead of five. She runs around just as wildly as she did when she was a pup.Jane reaches over and grabbed Fleurâs glass and then the pitcher of water and poured it before sitting the glass back down. Regina had been an influence on her, teaching her to be independent from staff. Jane had wanted to be just like her older sisters, to be as beautiful as they were. Jane learned that she could do for herself by watching her sisters and copied it even now. Fairytales, get books on fairytales. âWhen dinner is done, we could go back to my room?â It is a split second before it clicks how that might sound. âto hang out, continue this date? Watch a movie..you can meet your new pets?â
Fleur hadnât even thought of the fact that they were going to be her pets, too. So much came with this marriage that she hadnât even dreamed about thinking of yet. She laughed a little, covering her mouth with her hand to soften the sound of it-- trying not to annoy the other girl. âI guess youâre right!â and then, âThat sounds like a good future to me.â Was that too bold of a sentiment? She wasnât really sure. She was just telling the truth. A future filled with pets is a dream to her.Â
âCrime novels, huh... I havenât read that many,â Fleur smiled, âIâll have to read some more when I can, so that we can talk about them. Youâll have to recommend me some of your favorites sometime, I wouldnât even know where to start!â She set her hands in her lap, clasping them together. They were definitely sweaty, now. Why was she still so nervous? They were just having a quaint conversation! Her smile stayed on, however, as she watched Jane pour her a glass of water. She just seemed so... elegant. Pretty. Fleur hoped that she was giving off as much of a splendid aura as Jane was. âThank you very much,â she said, taking a drink of the water. She didnât realize how thirsty she was until that moment.
In that split second, Fleurâs eyes widened, her breath hitching for just a moment. Was Jane really asking--? No. Oh, thank goodness. Fleur put her hand to her chest, relieved, laughing a little. âIâd love to! A movie and cute animals sounds great to me.â
