Recently (almost) finished a cosplay piece for a character of mine

I’m really enamored with the dynamic of two characters who work perfectly in tandem, like pacific rim drift compatible level, but they don’t like each other. It’s not even as strong an emotion as hate it’s just a very neutral-negative dislike, but they still act in perfect concert and their individual abilities are fully complementary

Some people asked for prints of the doodles from these two signs that I left for my co-workers (one of them had rearranged my alterations rack, and a lot of them are bad at guessing how long things take, and keep putting too much in for one day) and I finally got around to tracing and uploading them to Redbubble.

For the "mine" one I put the rack in the regular prints, but left it out on the sticker/magnet, so you can put it in front of anything. For the 3 drinking vessel options I replaced the rack with mugs.

And for the overbooked one I did both a swearing and a non-swearing version.

i think one of the most important things you learn about making connections with others is that a significant portion of the time people just do not know theyre doing what theyre doing

sometimes someone is acting selfish because they just didnt think you had any interest in what theyre hogging. sometimes you dont get invited to the movies because your friend could have sworn that you said no. sometimes you think someone is mad at you because theyre bad at hiding how little sleep they got. we are all like little worlds that briefly crash into one another from time to time and we just arent physically capable of seeing the whole picture at once in those moments. and learning that really changed everything!

when my brother was 22, his best friend passed away unexpectedly. my aunt drove three hours to be there for him at the funeral. she went up to my brother, gave him a big hug, and then gave him a nickel. it was the same nickel; she had kept it in her wallet for 18 years, and now it's on a necklace that he never takes off.

what i'm trying to say is that the love you put into the world will always find its way back to you.
