Well... I fully gened a dragon before realizing that I have another dragon that better matches the accent I bought..... That's a first.

Weaver and her wife, a centaur named Mayuri Dapplemane! They are both tailors in Podsgarden. They do tend to specialize in dragon and beastclan apparel respectively, but they collaborate often on projects. They're also both emigrants from Dragonhome, which is where the Dapplemane herd originated.

Have you guys ever thought about how fucked the Lightweaver’s magic is? Her first children were born of pure light magic mixed with some bone and flesh she found lying around. If they die in close proximity to one another they fuse and form a terrifying kaiju-zombie that knows nothing but destruction all while the minds of the deceased dream of sunny days and laughter. You can create/revive life with light magic at a horrible cost. Her other children regurgitate a horrible black goo on the regular that solidifies into a pearl which they tie their entire identities to. They all hate eachother. The Light domain is filled with ruins and ghosts and archeology and is home to a permanent twilight zone that only encases a single destroyed city. It’s home to one of those horrible dead kaiju monsters because the endless war between the gods left corpses carelessly unattended on the battlefield. Anyways the Light Flight is my favorite Flight

I think it's interesting how the shadow flight mirrors and subverts this. Both shadow breeds are intensely social, yet are designed for subterfuge. Lying and manipulating is literally their lore, and yet conversely they cannot thrive alone. Veilspuns quite literally go it torpor if they sleep alone, and Nocturnes need other dragons to mimic.

The description for the tangled woods is as follows:

"A cursed, murky wood of rail-thin evergreens, enveloped by an impenetrable mist. Within the thickness of this twilight, the Shadowbinder and her ilk sneak unseen, skittering and laughing at one another through gnarled brambles, and among glowing shrooms and tree roots. The earth here is literally sunken, as if half of the Sunbeam Ruins fell away into darkness willingly."

I think the wording of it is interesting, most notably the addition of willingly.

Also I think it's interesting how the Sunportal is placed right infront of shadowbinder's residence, while the Moonportal is, if walking by foot, would physically be the farthest place from the lightweaver (you'd also be forced to go through the hewn city and possibly emperor's wake)

I keep seeing people reblog FR art that is AI generated. I'm going to post this art and going over why I think its AI generated and hopefully give some hints about how you can better spot AI art in the future.

Intent! Theres a lot of places across this where the line art is done very inconsistently, one hand has three toes outlined in brown and one has two in dark brown and one not outlined at all. Some areas are outlined in white or not at all and some areas the line weight is weirdly choppy (the grass along the bottom). Theres no real intent or decision making behind the line art. Its all random and mismatched. Theres also a lack of intent on the weird blobs across the dragons face, theres some white sprinkles and blobby pink areas and just a random pink line on the head. The dragon has an ear on one side and some bizarre lump on the other. The basket is honestly just a confusing mess and any human actually drawing and making decisions about colour and lighting simply wouldn't produce anything like this. The overall quality of the image is sharp and choppy in places (theres even a weirdly square artifact in one of the dragons eyes). When this "artists" thread was still up their art style was very very inconsistent. They were clearly a beginner artist who suddenly started producing this overly cute art one day as an "adopt". Ive spoken to multiple artists about this person and they have all agree there is ai involved in their art process. Their art thread on FR has since been taken down for violating ToS.

The second art piece:

Its lineless in some areas and lined in others. In certain spots it has not one but two outlines. The white "highlight" outline is very inconsistent, its three different colours and just isn't there in places you'd expect there to be highlights. One side of the dragons head has the red feathery eyebrow and the other side doesnt (a decision i cannot picture a human making). The patterns in the weird fluffy feathery mane the dragon has are completely random with more weird blobs pretty much everywhere. The shape of the head and neck is just really strange- the neck seems to cut into the head like its fluffy but its not fluffy at all there. And the lines near the bottom of the neck break up randomly. The antlers are asymmetrical. The tail is asymmetrical where its missing the red trail and the AI has just put the white highlight instead. Again the whole line art and colour quality is weirdly choppy. The "brushstrokes" of the art look clear and confident unlike the "artists" signature.

Not all of these things are the hallmarks of AI art. Real artists may do several of these things in their art. All of them together and considering these artists histories do tend to paint a certain AI based picture however. Don't accuse people completely baselessly, consult with other people- especially other artists- before you accuse and/or report anyone. Please consider what you're reblogging might be too good to be true especially if they are a complete newcomer. And most importantly please reblog from actual artists <3
