Fantastic reading yesterday at the Player’s Club of the new play about Marcel Proust INTERLUDES OF THE HEART written by Robert Blumenfeld and directed by the talented Leslie Kincaid Burby! — with Kieran Mulcare, Ilinca Tuvene, Cameron Ring, Nat Cassidy, Jeffrey Hardy, Scot Charles Anderson and Joe Burby.  Proud to be producing this AEA so we can get the play to the next level!

Happy Bastille Day Everyone! The French cabaret Floanne is at Joe’s Pub tonight to celebrate and delight … 

Bastille Day is France’s “Independence Day” celebrated each year on July 14, the beginning of the French revolution in 1789. For the third year, the playful and seductive Floanne is presenting her solo concert at Joe’s Pub to ravish the ear of the Francophile and culturally curious New Yorker. Her new program “Love Is French” weaves vintage songs into a didactic presentation, dissecting with humor and wisdom the cliché that romances can be.

Pianist Girshel Javakhishvili will be joined by virtuoso Joe Cohn on guitar, andGrant Zubritsky on bass. To make this concert more interactive, Twitter and Facebook handles #floanne will be projected onto the stage, so each audience member can share their love stories.
