They've cancelled ROTTMNT, TOTTMNT, and the Last Ronin movie that were in the works. If they make another TMNT series, what if they cancel that, too? It will almost make me not want to watch it because I wouldn't want to get let down again.

Every show deserves our attention, every turtle version deserves our love; even if we don't get to know them, even if the story is bad. If we keep trying, if we keep loving, maybe we will get a show with the material that it deserves, a good and long enough show. If we stop, then it will be over

But you're right, about everything you said. Whether they prematurely pull the plug on another series or not in the future, I'm still going to watch whatever series they throw out because TMNT is my childhood. The fandom is alive because of us, because we continue to love the series and its characters. ❤️

Finally allowed to post my two page spread for the Leonardo themed Zine called “Leader in Blue.” It was so fun getting to work with the whole team at @tmntzines and it was really interesting trying to design an art-piece with the knowledge that it would be cut in half by the book spine.

The leftover sale went live earlier today but apparently it sold out in less than an hour! So crazy! Thank you everyone for your support and so looking forward to the Raph themed one! If you haven’t yet I recommend going to @tmntzines and filling out their Interest Check for the Raph Zine!

i love all the aus where future leo somehow ends up in present timeline. i especially love it when future leo, current leo, or both just have these awful, conflicted feelings about each other because “i know you best” — and that can really mean a plethora of things.

i guess for this drawing’s case, leo isn’t very fond of having his older self stuck in their current timeline, especially since he’s been mulling on the fact that his future self (who we’ll just call leonardo) let so many people die to stave off the kraang — let his brothers die while knowing no matter what they did, they never had a fighting chance at winning the war (and leo knows leonardo knows this, he knows himself best after all). so, he’s a lot a little on edge, in fear that this war-torn version of himself will go crazy and sacrifice his family for his own selfish strategies and needs.

not that leonardo can do much anyways. he’s barely recovering from the nasty wound on his side, and aside from how jarring it is to suddenly be surrounded by younger versions of his dead family members, leonardo is grateful to be expected to do nothing but rest in the cozy med-bay bed and eat whatever mikey serves him.

god bless the fanfiction authors who have written stories for this, y’all are incredible and make my nighttime readings so enjoyable mwuah 💋
