My story (no name yet) takes place in a fictional world in earth. There are 7 regions, 6 of them taking inspirations from actual real-world cultures. I am also creating a whole new culture which will be the main focused region. I do not want to appropriate any cultures or anything, I just want to create a fictional world that feels a bit real and where you can see parts of yourself in it too. I will be doing research to try my best to not make anything offensive, however the internet can only get me so far. I am only truly familiar with my own culture, so if at any point I do make something offensive please let me know. It's not want I want to do however I know it can happen. Please DM me or just let me know in the comments and I will be quick to change or remove the detail entirely. Please do be respectful as well, I am human and prone to mistakes, and I genuinely don't want to cause harm. That out of the way, I would also really appreciate little tidbits and helpers on what I could add to my story :D again the internet can only get me so far and actual information from the real source would be so cool!!
