if you ever feel sad or scared or insecure about how much pressure there is in the studyblr community to be this beacon of high level thinking and advanced education, please know that I’ve had a C in math for the past two years. There’s some sort of stigma in this “accepting” community that we all take 5 AP classes and have straight A’s and although some of us do, it’s just not realistic. Good grades are a struggle. Good grades are sleeping at 2 AM and cramming and panic attacks. Good grades are skipping out on other events. You don’t just get good grades, you earn them. And sometimes there is too much pressure. I can’t speak for everyone but I want you to know that I’m a real person. I hate math and I always will. I’m not going to pretend I love it bc I have a fairly popular studyblr. Ya girl kicked her own ass to keep those C’s and they’re the best I could do and I’m graduating next week knowing that at least I tried and I succeeded.
