i know the fandom likes to headcanon adult kaworu as a mysterious ceo or whatever but be serious. this man is not working. that is not the face of a worker he is not employed. he is a nepo baby “freelancer” who says things like “i’m between projects” and means “i have never applied for a job in my life” and his only sources of income are indie music/art gigs with VERY inconsistent earnings that range from 10 to 100k and his husband shinji. shinji pays the bills. shinji pays the rent. shinji files taxes. shinji goes to work and comes back to househusband kaworu who asks "would u like dinner..a bath...or me ... :3" and theyre both perfectly happy. funniest thing is that i believe kaworu absolutely COULD be a ceo if he put his mind to it but he just.
