many young lgbt+ kids are learning who they are at such a young age, and that’s great!! it’s wonderful that we’ve come to a point where the next generation is able to find out who they are

but if you’re an older lgbt+ individual and you’re just learning about yourself: you’re valid!! Learning who you are, it’s hard and not always a fun thing to do, especially when it’s about something that is looked down upon by most of the world.

realizing all the pain you went through as a child,  or realizing how much you lied to yourself, it sucks and you might even feel like you might be lying because you found out as such a late age, but you’re not!!!

please know that you ARE valid, your experiences are valid, even if it’s been your whole life and you didn’t realize it until you saw a post about it on tumblr, or any other social media.

you are learning who you are, and i hope you learn to accept and love yourself as well!!
