When Heathcliff dozes off in T Corp's jail and in the mission brief before entering La Manchaland, I thought it was him sleeping through whatever he could to make the time until he could get Cathy back feel shorter. Not sure if it's a stretch but I've totally slept just to skip time before.

canto 4 themed menu (notes below the cut)

stained glass cookies: i know them more commonly as aquarium cookies but i thought this name fit more here. i also don't like them irl but they fit so well that i didn't want to pick anything else. also if it wasn't clear they're shaped like the hand mirror yi sang has

melon soda: the chocolate decor on the vanilla ice cream is meant to make it resemble an eyeball, and the stirrer is based on k corp.'s excision weapons.

spicebush tea: self explanatory. i added spicebush twigs (what the tea would actually be made of), berries and flowers as a garnish. the saucer has a camellia pattern on it.

sokkoritang: i thought a hearty korean soup using a cheap cut of beef would fit dongrang/farmwatch's origins. i could see him (and yi sang + dongbaek) eating this after a day of fieldwork.

jumeok-bap: i honestly couldn't think of a good dish to represent the TLA so i went with rice balls that resemble the different ego suits they use... if you're curious red sheet is the kimchi one, sloshing is represented by the dipping sauce and the green?? vegetable one?? and sunshower is the seaweed + meat one. also i didn't want there to be only one korean dish in this spread

Haven't made the other sinners yet, but here's Heathcliff! I may end up focusing on making the other sinners before I make any identites or E.G.O.s, but I'm proud of how this turned out.

Sometime after learning what Gregory Horror Show was, I made a Minecraft skin in Blockbench for Hell's Chef on a whim. I decided to share in case anyone wants to terrorize their worlds as a dreadfully passionate cook! Pair the skin with the Farmer's Delight mod or its addons and you'll fit the part perfectly.

Extra note: This note was made using Hell's Chef as seen in his modern form with color picking. Normally I put more effort into shading, but I wanted to keep the flat color look as much as possible.

Context: A couple of months ago, my Pokémon hyper-fixation started spawning ideas for the "Verida" region. It's based off of Florida, and so far, I've made some Pokémon and human characters. (The region isn't meant to be true to Pokémon game or story tradition, btw.)

Nihilpolitan wasn't the first fakemon I came up with for Verida, but It's one of my favorites, so I picked this image for my first Verida post. I'll elaborate a bit more on this species' conceptualization in later posts, to keep this one more readable.

Also ofc these guys don't come with collars, this Nihilpolitan specifically is Napoleon, and I'll post his trainer sometime later too.

Since the last time I uploaded any art to Tumblr, I've apparently added 148 images to my little art album on my phone.

The primary reason I don't post anything is because I:

A) made artwork for a personal project I'm struggling to find a comfy starting point for,

or

B) I don't usually push or finish past the rough linework stage. I also feel bad knowing I'd probably post mostly unfinished art.

Maybe I'll change that little by little over time. For now, I'm just going to occasionally put on a brave face and post something I came up with recently, or one of those 148 unseen drawings.

Next post immediately after this is an artwork from one such personal project, and the unseen artworks. It'll be a little while before I expand on the project publicly, if I do.

(Btw, I'm so sorry if you're one of the 12 people who follow me and had no idea this is a living, lurking Tumblr account. Maybe I can liven up your feed a bit in the future.)
