didn't watch the livestream, are they going to release a new game again? did they say when? i don't think it's been even half a year since they released i do to be announcing a new one already

We haven't watched it either yet actually lol

But yes, they've announced a new game/game series called "Obey Me! Sinner's Choice", with the first installment being "Lucifer". While there is no official release date, it'll be released in Fall 2026 according to OM's twitter.

It's going to be a fully-voiced visual novel on Steam, so not yet another mobile gacha game!

One of the reasons we were so frustrated with IDO (besides how awful the actual game is) is that it was yet another mobile gacha game released, after it was mentioned that OM was actually going to expand outside of mobile games. It seems that this is what they were actually referring to and working on, while IDO was just...an in-between blatantly cheap cash grab attempt at keeping engagement.

We are still not exactly holding our breath, because based on other games by Frontwing (the actual developer listed on Steam), each installment will likely be a separate purchase, which we don't yet know the price of but would likely add up...but we don't hate it yet? As a partner, their track record does leave something to be desired, because it seems like they've mostly made those baby-looking-style dating sims targeted at men rather than otome/amare games, but that doesn't mean they'll necessarily drop the ball here.

As for the game itself, the premise seems to be maybe the right direction as well, since it's exploring the time immediately after the Celestial War, even more so than NB ended up doing. So maybe they're finally coming back around for us fall angst lovers?? It'll be interesting, because this MC is distinctively not the same as MC up to now, as some kind of "magistrate" or judge, but again, we don't hate that yet...and honestly, it might be a good change from them trying to just keep escalating MC's position/role in the Three Worlds, since that route seemed increasingly hard to please everybody.

Steam has a little preview, including these screens, which does make us happy about the art style and updated designs they've gone with (aside from Mammon's...grayness). Also, helloooo Barb? 👀

And this particular image gives us hope that they're returning to OM's darker roots and won't shy away from demons being...demons.

Well, only half a year or so 'til we find out?!!

MC introducing the human show How Its Made to Lucifer when they were spending some time in the human world.

Yaknow. Because they thought he'd like it.

But now MC, Solomon and Diavolo have to work together to create new technology that allows programs from both the human world and the Devildom to be shown on a singular device. Just so Lucifer can watch How Its Made and the other "Here's How Things Work!" shows MC had shown him.

Also; Lucifer proposing that the Devildom should start producing shows like that. Maybe he uses the excusereasoning of further educating the denizens of the Devildom of how the things they consume/see in everyday life gets made.

That they don't exactly have to attend RAD to learn. Because that's why these shows are made, aren't they? And we believe in creating an enviornment where everyone is able to learn, be it on school grounds or the comfort of their home television, right? Diavolo, please, make someone make this show, he'll sponser it himself if he has too—

Diavolo indulges him. Because of course he does.

The show is a hit.

Probably reveals some drama some companies have going on and since it'd likely be sponsered by the royal family, action is taken to improve the overall quality of both the products and working conditions.

Denizens are learning. Products of all sorts improve. People are happy.

Recently got a Spawn (comic) book and there was really cool armor for a character named Redeemer!!! I wanted to draw Sim in it and it kinda devolved into a small AU :3

(For bottom left): Kinda wanted to explore if the Celestial Realm was a more violent place and how he'd feel about it, although I don't think he'd actively try to go against the Celestial Realm's wishes, I think he's not really a fighter and would not enjoy violence he partakes in.

(For bottom right): I'd rather not have Simeon know Rat as a kid (although I'm kinda undecided), but he's their guardian angel and is very surprised to see them when they end up at RAD (he gets sent to RAD, assumes someone else takes his place). Oomf recommended that Rat's previous guardian angel quit out of frustration and Simeon ended up taking their spot as Rat's guardian angel and I think I might keep that lol xP

Okay but can we talk about how horrifying it must be to be Lucifer. Imagine your little brother comes to you in the middle of the night, eyes red and cheeks puffy and overall just a mess and all he wants is a little bit of comfort from his older brother. You don't know what's wrong, maybe he did badly in a test or maybe he had a nightmare. It doesn't matter anyway, you would comfort him all the same.

Except you can't.

“Diavolo is the only one who would truly care if you died.” Words leave your lips before your mind, at least the part of it that managed to remain clean from your sin has the opportunity to process what you just said. No, that's not what you wanted to say! You would never say that! That's your younger brother, you raised him, you're still raising him, he stood by your side in a war and never once turned his back as your brilliant white wings turned black.

How dare you say something like that?

You know it's not really you speaking, it's your sin. Your pride (that you have no rights of holding onto) is speaking in your place. You know that but how can your younger brother know? To him, it's all the same. His older brother wouldn't care if he died.

You want to die right then and there, allow the betrayal on your younger brother's face to be your final shot and face Father's wrath but it would probably be too kind for you. It doesn't happen anyway, all you can do is stand there, tall and disgustingly proud of nothing and watch as he leaves.

Tomorrow, you'll scowl at your new younger brother, your son when he says he's a part of you. You want to say he's not, that he's better than you, that your accomplishments and glory is nothing more than smoke and mirrors but you can't. You instead scold him, tell him he's nothing more than wrath itself personified, pure evil and nothing more.

And after that, it'll happen again and again and again.
