sorry i’ve been inactive lately, i swear i’m gonna get around to all the replies i have/anyone that replied to my starter from a while ago, but of course if anyone wants to drop them that’s a-okay too because i know that they’re going to be preeettty late. love u guys.
i plan on being active.... asap.. i’ve been buried under senior year stuff and also rewatching all of the pirates of the caribbean movies so i can go see the new one and im the Slowest at movie watching which is why its taken me a week to watch 3 movies

Being the sweetheart that everyone knew her to be, it wasn’t rare for Auburn to go out of her way to help people. In fact, it was one of the qualities that people admired most in her. “If I were you, I would check it.” She suggested softly. “It might be someone in your family, which could be important.” She added with a shrug. “It’s ultimately up to you, though.” She finished with. Upon hearing him thank her for her help, Auburn just smiled warmly and shook her head. “Don’t mention it. I would have wanted someone to do the same for me.”
Flynn looked at her, one eyebrow raised in doubt, before sighing, “You’re right.” He pulled out his phone from the pocket he’d just placed it in, “Yup, it was the principal- I’m screwed, it’s fine.” He shook his head, dreading the call back he was going to have to make later that night. His boss was usually pretty kind, but he knew that missing a class without calling in wasn’t responsible in the slightest. “Well, if I ever catch you standing over a pile of all of your belongings, I’ll be right there to help.”

Adele was never one to get down and dirty in her daily campus life, only when she volunteered to do work with Habitat for Humanity or the Peace Corps was she really willing to get down on the ground and get to work. Considering that no one saw her out of heels and the occasional skirt, she wasn’t much for helping people in the community around her. It wasn’t until she saw Mr. Fitzherbert looking as miserable as ever she knew something needed to be done. She didn’t have him as a professor, she barely knew anything about him. After seeing all his belongings spill right out of his bag, she found herself hobbling over to him, immediately bending down to start collecting his fallen materials. As she saw a stack of papers vibrating, she reached down and grabbed the phone, quickly raising her arm, hoping that the call would still be active. “Here you go, Professor.”
Flynn quickly took the phone, glancing at the screen, “I’m just going to call them back later, thanks though.” He shrugged, before letting the call go to voicemail. “Not really in the mood to get yelled at by my boss right now.” He chuckled, shrugging before bending down himself to pick up more of his papers. “You don’t have to help, I’m sure picking things up off the ground in heels isn’t fun. I don’t know how any girl balances in those, really.” He offered a smile. He didn’t want her to end up twisting an ankle or something because of him. Especially because he just seemed to be bad luck today.

winnie approached the mess slowly– if she had a dollar for every time all the contents of her bag got spilled onto the ground, she’d probably be a bit richer. she was able to mildly put herself in his shoes, she knew how annoying the situation felt. his phone was the first thing she had spotted from the pile since it ricocheted away from it, so it was the first thing she picked up. she handed it to him gently, the device still vibrating in her hands. “you look like you could use a hand. one of those days, huh?”
“Yeah, you can definitely say that. It’s that obvious, huh?” Flynn didn’t even look down to see who it was before declining the call and shoving his phone in his pocket. He would deal with whoever was calling later, it was really the last thing on his mind at the moment. “Thanks,” He smiled, although it immediately disappeared as he looked down at his stuff on the floor. He knelt down and began minimally organizing papers before stuffing them back in his bag. “They need to, like, block off this hallway, because I’m going to need years to get all of this stuff crammed back in there. Do you know if classes get out soon? I don’t want all of my papers stampeded by kids.”

Bailey had seen everything crash down, in slow motion, almost. Immediately, she went down before the male, scrambling to pick up things for him. She had dropped things many times herself, and this looked like a lot. As she shuffled some things, picking them up and straightening back onto her feet, Bailey finally noticed who it was. “Mr Fitzherbert!” She said, slightly surprised, handing over the few items she had picked up. “Is um.. Is everything okay, sir?”
Flynn was thankful the girl was so willing to help, he really needed it today. He smiled and nodded, “Hello... Bailey- right?” He smiled at her, taking the papers from her and shoving them back into his bag- he could organize them later. There were so many students at this school, it was hard to keep track of them all. He was pretty sure he’d gotten her name right though, he often heard how kind she was. “No, not at all, really.” He sighed, scratching the side of his head, looking down at the rest of the mess. “It’s okay, though. Thank you for helping.” He said, kneeling down to collect more papers and pens.

Auburn was walking through campus on her way to the library, but was stopped abruptly when the contents of Flynn’s bag poured out on the ground in front of her. “Oh my.” The young brunette muttered before stopping and bending down to help the male pick up his things. She caught the tail end of his phone ringing, and she rose a brow. “Don’t you want to at least check and see who it was?”
Flynn was pleasantly surprised when someone went to help him- with the day he was having, it felt like everyone was against him. He knelt down next to her, grabbing a few of the papers that had fallen from his very messy bag. “I- I should but- it’s fine. It’s probably the principal calling to yell at me because I missed my first class of the day- but it’s good, really.” He chuckled at his misfortune, shaking his head before it faded as he began to try and sort out the mess. He knew he was probably oversharing, but he couldn’t help himself. He needed to complain to someone. “And thank you, for helping me.” He meant what he said, it truly was kind of her.
Flynn was walking through campus, and stopped for a second to get his phone, which was ringing, out of his bag. He went to place it down on the nearest bench, only for it to fall right off, spilling it’s contents all over the hallway. “Oh, fuck,” He sighed, thinking it was just his luck in the first place. All year, Flynn only dreaded two days, and today was one of them. It was his mother’s birthday, but also, it was the day he’d met Arabella, the girl who had his heart until the day she died. He put his hands on his hips, staring down at the mess in front of him, phone still ringing somewhere in the big mess now in front of him. “I guess I’ll just let that one go to voicemail. Probably wasn’t important anyways,” He grumbled sarcastically, mainly speaking to himself.

“I think I mastered it!” Donnie pronounced proudly to the nearest person. “It’s so fucking cool. I never knew I could fucking use a word for multiple fucking purposes like this! I mean, I know people sometimes fucking say fucking when they are angry, but you can also use it to show excitement, or fright, or whatever the fuck else! Look, that time I didn’t even have to say fucking I just said fuck. Like, you can use it for anything.”
Flynn was shocked by the boy’s profound speech and that he was telling him, a teacher, about his discovery of a swear word. He stood there for a few seconds, trying to figure out a proper response, but this was quite the off moment for him. “Oh...” He trailed off, “Maybe, now that you’ve clearly learned how to use that word, maybe just, uh... don’t tell teachers and faculty, and, well pretty much adults in general about your grand discovery, alright? Most of us don’t particularly find that type of speech respectful? I don’t really care, but just so you don’t end up in detention or something, limit that- whatever that was, to your friends.”

“Yeah, Dad, school’s going well–” Clarence was interrupted by his dad’s demanding voice. “Ya showin’ ‘em who’s boss, kid?” He had to hold back an audible sigh, but couldn’t hide the way his shoulders drooped. Clearing his throat, Clarence puffed out his chest — as if his Dad could see him — and let out an arrogant laugh. “You bet. I got into a fight with some dude last week, I really showed him not to mess with me.” “That’s my boy!” His father’s voice was so booming, Clarence had to hold the phone away from his ear. Years ago, those rare words of praise would have filled him with pride; now they just made him feel sick to his stomach. “I should get going, Dad–” “Yeah, yeah, right. You go ahead, keep makin’ me proud, kid!”
Hanging up his phone with a loud sigh, Clarence ran a hand over his face. Keeping up this facade was becoming more exhausting with each passing day. With his shoulders drooped and his head hanging low, he turned on his heel. Immediately, his gaze landed on the person standing behind him and he stopped abruptly. His posture straightened and his eyes widened in surprise. “…How uh- …how much of that did you hear?”
“Not much, really.” Flynn shrugged, and it was the truth. He’d just been walking by, and stopped for a second because he could literally hear the other person on the phone with Clarence. “Are you okay?” He asked, noticing the boy’s body language after he’d hung up the phone. “Not that you have to tell me, but I figured I’d offer.” He was a casual guy, and usually not one to snoop in other people’s business, but Clarence seemed like he might need some support, at least, according to Flynn.
