hi, guys!! i’m really late on setting up my blog so excuse the clutter that is my theme. but anyway, i’m trice and some of y’all might remember me from my older muses daewon, jaekyung, and holiday! i’m super tentative on the icon style and i’m probably gonna change it, but anywho, please feel free to read more about jin.q under the cut!
he was born april 14, 1991. age 27. he’s the eldest of six.
growing up, he was the classic big brother figure; loyal, protective, and honestly he had to grow up way too fast because his parents, while good people, didn’t realize they couldn’t support all the kids they wanted.
so anyway he’d always help out around the house, put the younger ones to bed, etc. pretty much as soon as he was able to walk.
jinkyu was a very sweet, very kind boy. he was a bit quiet, but flawlessly polite. he got known in his small neighborhood as someone you could call on.
his parents owned a chicken shop, but it wasn’t really enough to pay the bills; so at age eight, he went into modeling and stayed at home until he was twelve, when he moved out of the house and in with a distant relative so that he could sign on with bc entertainment.
he’s probably the most hard-working, determined, goal-oriented person you’ll ever meet. he’d never danced before his audition, but once he decided that becoming an idol would help the family with money more than being a model, he learned a dance within a week that he used to audition, then just went from there.
following his acceptance into bc, he became really messed up. he did everything it took to debut, from lying to slander. he’s a really clever guy, too, so he never got caught. over time, he morphed from the kindly kid that he used to be into someone who didn’t care what it took to get where he needed to go. he’s very much of the “some win/some lose” mindset.
he’s only in this for the money. he’s only trying to help his family through. buuuuuut......
his family found out about all the shit he did when he was a trainee to get to the top and they’ve all but disowned him. as a result he’s very bitter. he simply wants to get back into their good graces, but he’s going about it all wrong; he thinks that more money, more fame is what they want from him, but really they just want back the young boy who couldn’t hurt a soul in this world.
anyway so that’s him now; he’s very twisted, very calculating.
the thing is, he’s extremely charismatic; he’ll look you in the eye when he talks to you, laugh at all your jokes, make you feel like you’re his best friend. and he’s not even faking it; but at the end of the day, when push comes to shove, he’ll probably step on you if he thinks you’re in his way.
everything about him is 100% real; he’s very honest. if you ask him straight up if he cares about you, he’ll probably say no, because chances are he doesn’t. he doesn’t even bother putting up a front in front of the cameras, which has landed him in some hot water, but really he doesn’t bother hiding how fucked up he is right now (of course, the things he did in his trainee days are a different story). he’s charismatic on the surface, but usually people don’t bother digging deeper to see how messed up he is.
