like for a text starter (or if we havenât plotted iâll pop into your dms).
this is a re-intro for yoorin because in the past week she lost her best friend and boyfriend so itâs well needed, and she definitely needs new plots. and iâm so sorry to everyone who replied to her open starter because itâs sorta irrelevant now so thereâs not really a way for me to respond, but you all get first dibs on new threads. under the cut, iâm gonna include some updated info about her. as usual, like this to plot !
(IN)CORRECT WISH MOMENTS
ft. @fmdwren, @fmdxrene, @fmdsunny, @fmdsooyeon, @fmdyeoreum, @miaxfmd, @fmdxarabella (insp from dee)
â * , + ; Â Â â sheâs overdue for a break down. yoorin knows this. sheâs pushed it off, telling herself sheâs too busy to be that selfish. she has her coping mechanisms; drinks with the other young leaders in the industry, nights to let go. movie nights with the girls, and long nights by duriâs side. during these moments, time stands still and problems seem to have never existed. it was easy to ignore her own problems and feelings. but every one has a breaking point, and this was it for bae yoorin.
it was impossible to ignore the sirens and red lights that appeared outside of bc entertainment. all the idols, trainees, and employees seemed to gather around, trying to get a glimpse of what happened. âdo you think itâs serious?â âwho is it?â âwhat happened?â questions were swirling around, and wren wasnât exempt from the questions. most of the people she was closest to could often be found at the entertainment complex. a gasp came from one of the trainees further ahead of her in the crowd. âitâs duri!â was heard clear as day.
that was all it took. wren felt someone grab her hand and squeeze it, but she couldnât stay there, with everyone. she held it together until she reached an empty studio, where she promptly collapsed onto a chair. duri was her rock, her foundation, and that was crumbling and so was yoorin. a loud sob left her lips.
iâm back! lemme explain my absence.

durifmd:
    it kind of sucked that they couldnât be out in public as a couple; that much was constantly known. but at least point, theyâve been a strong couple behind closed doors, it was something that was working out so nicely. they were good at being sneaky; something that duri never thought heâd actually be good at it. but hey, you learn something new every day. like for example, learning how to suppress the desire to wrap your arms around your girlfriend, but you knew you couldnât because managers and cameras were watching them. he hoped at least sometime later, when no one was watching, heâd be able to, and also hold her hand like he wanted to do so badly right now. but, itâll be fine, they can totally pretend to be nothing but friends.Â
even though duri had opted out of the cave experience, he still had a pretty good time talking with one of the security guards. the two even ended up talking and even taking some pictures together around their surroundings. it was much better than making himself probably have some kind of freak out of being stuck inside of a cave. his eyes looked around the maze, a soft smile placed against his lips. it was a nice setting; one where he wished he could spend some time alone with wren with no one else around, probably take pictures. but thus, that was just a fantasy that couldnât be lived out right now. he looked in the direction, giggling softly, âah, i guess weâre just gonna have to move where we think forward is at,â he stated looking around, before a soft nod came from him. âdonât worry! iâm going to get you out of here.. if that doesnât occur. then well, i can just put you up on my shoulders and youâd probably be able to look over, right? or you could just climb over,â he laughed softly once again, hiding his mouth with his hands. he shook his head, ânope! iâve been here with decipher for work purposes! but, weâve never got to see it like this. itâs really nice⊠a bit inspiring,â he said, a soft smile towards her way. in moments like this, he really wanted to let the words âyouâre prettyâ slip pass his lips like heâd do sometimes, but he again, he couldnât.Â
before duri and wren dated, there hadnât been much of a friendship. they were more of acquaintances thanks to the company and haejun. and she was just like any other girl in the country: she had a crush on him. maybe she didnât obsess the same way fans did, but when he was around, she found herself blushing and stumbling over her words. they had jumped straight from that to dating, so pretending to be friends was foreign to her. it was something she was learning as they went along. silently, she prayed that she didnât slip up on camera.
despite what happened at the caves, duri seemed happy. duri always seemed happy, though. he was the best at putting on a brave face for everyone else. âon your shoulders? i can only dream of what it would be like to be your height. you must be able to see really well at shows. iâm surprised you canât see over the hedges, if iâm honest.â everything coming out of her mouth sounded so foreign to wren and forced, but hopefully it sounded more honest on camera. this wasnât how she and duri talked, but it was how they had to right now. âit is. maybe you can convince bc to let you take a trip here to write.â wren returned his smile, but just like her words, it was carefully calculated to not give away too much. when they were alone, she would kiss him and tell him what she actually thought of everything he had to say today, but for now a fake smile and well constructed words would do.
Weakness: when a group of unrelated characters, of varying backgrounds, consider each other a family
ââ *:ïŸđ|| @fmdwren
ââ *:ïŸâ§ SHE HAD ALWAYS HAD ISSUES with her self confidence , it plummeted when she joined WISH . no , that was not true . it plummeted when seri let herself believe in the words she read on the internet . when she dieted , she was âSKINNY AS A SKELETONâ and therefore , not good enough . when she gained weight to counteract , she was âLIKE A WHALE COMPARED TO THE OTHER GIRLSâ . seri was lost , both in her position in WISH , and in her standing with the fans . the young japanese - born often wondered , silently , how she should handle it .Â
AND THERE WAS the fact that âŠ. well , seri never felt quite right with WISHâs image . she was not a cute girl ; not an innocent girl . not WISH . not what WISH stood for . but as one of the older girls , she held it in . only in front of her leader , that she hesitantly opened up the topic .Â
BUT POINT IN HAND WAS that , yoorin also looked stressed recently ( tired // worn ) . seri didnât wish to impose . so , slurping from her juice box silently , she continued to gaze at the leader â â unconscious of her acts , only to speak after a while , â yoorin , you look tired recently . âÂ
â * , + ;   â wren tried to never be ungrateful, especially about the opportunities given to her. had things worked out the way she planned originally? no. was this her ideal situation, the big dream she had since she was a little girl? mostly, no. but things rarely worked out the way you planned. she knew that better than most. wish was what she ended up with, and it wasnât bad. it was just different.
the biggest adjustment came with being a leader. growing up, it had been her parents, her, and her twin brother. the two siblings watched out for each other, sure. but he often took on the big brother role. at the age of 20, she was told she would practically be in charge of eight younger girls. that wasnât how things were supposed to go. she was supposed to be a soloist. not a babysitter. everyone around her recognized her motherly nature, even as a trainee, except her. wren quickly learned that being a leader was far more than just another title or position in the group. it was hard work, it was stress, it was emotional turmoil and guilt, and it was endless amounts of love.
she hadnât noticed she had zoned out until seri spoke up. âhuh? oh.â she smiled her best smile over at the other girl, though it fell short. âeveryone has a lot going on.â being the leader in a group like wish had one other stipulation: her heart seemed connected to every other girl. what they felt, she felt. feeling the emotions of a total of nine people was usually exhausting. âand i miss duri-oppa.â their relationship came in waves thanks to their busy schedules; it was always hard to adjust to being away from each other. âhow are you?â that was the more important question to her.
setting: early 2015.
overboard, his oldest noona deemed, head shaking and tongue clicking against the roof of her mouth in what was pride disguised as shame. by all means, it was a ruse to trick ilwooâher younger and only brother. as the sister, it was her job to badger sweet, kindhearted ilwoo about the person he fancied. innocent pesters. probing cackles. a snort or two while tousling his shaggy, dirty blond hair. it was sisterly affection after a few hours of helping ilwoo cook. (correctly, cook for ilwoo and his date.)Â
ilwoo didnât care what she or anyone said. (although, he knew minji meant no harm. no matter what was spoken or exchanged, it was support, and he needed as much of it as possible.) wren deserved a niceânoâa wonderful evening. and ilwoo thought the universe agreed; the sky was perfect. no one could deny that impossible word existed in that very moment. there were no navy wisps of thin clouds prancing to ruin an empyrean atmosphere. argent specks of clusters of stars illuminated the nebulous surrounding him and the small, round table he set up next to han river.Â
the single flame of a candle danced to a slow waltz. the breeze carried the silent chorus of a string orchestra. romantic. idyllic. whimsical. the quixotic mood was affixed, but ilwoo grew only the more nervous. an avid believer of luck, fear riddled him. negative thoughts pursued him. terrible thoughts of disaster. what if wren didnât like the food? what if it was too cold? although, spring was upon them, winter had yet to relinquish its rule. tormented by the abrupt onslaught of a stomach ample with frantic butterflies, ilwoo pressed an arm to his gut to quell the discomfort.Â
why was he so nervous? wrong question. he knew why. and she was approaching him. jolting up from his seat, he rushed over with a grin rivaling the length of his spread arms. âah, yoorin-ah! youâre here. i meanâof course youâre here, but you came early!âÂ
{ @fmdwren! }
maybe it was silly that wren had checked the mirror in the trainee dorm about twenty times already tonight. it was just ilwoo. that was what sunny had repeated to her. the boy was about as intimidating as a newborn kitten. with his floppy hair and that dopey smile and his thick busan accent... thinking about him made her all that more nervous, and earned an eye-roll from her best friend and the boy in questionâs cousin.
sneaking out of the dorm to meet an idol under a different label was easier said than done. lucky for yoorin, she had friends to cover for her and make excuses. if anyone were to ask, they would be told she was feeling under the weather and had a fever, making her contagious. nothing serious, just enough to keep people out and to quench their curiosity. she tried to dress cute, but not too eye-catching. lucky for her, not many people knew her face yet. that would change within the next year or so (hopefully), but for now she was grateful for the lack of fame.
ilwoo had given her an address, and she was pleasantly surprised to find it led to the han river. the night was beautiful, the river had always drawn wren towards it. it was the perfect place for their date; away from the prying eyes of the public. they could relax and be themselves, not have to keep up pretenses. yoorin wasnât sure how much she could relax, though, with ilwoo there looking so handsome, grinning at her all the while.
âam i really that early?â she checked the time on her phone. yes, she was. âiâm sorry!â she apologized with a sheepish smile. âi guess i just got excited.â she looked around and saw the table and candle and everything the other had set up for her. âthis is all for us?â wren wasnât used to this kind of attention.
Meeting Eunwooâs Parents- Eunwoo, Seri and Wren
fmdxrene:
Smiling brightly, Eunwoo nodded her head, looking to see that the cameras werenât following them. âTheyâre not into the horror stuff, but my dad might be very dorky.â She let out a giggle, intertwining her her arms with her members. Her house wasnât far from where they were staying, which was great as they could walk the familiar tracks that led to Eunwooâs childhood.Â
Sneaking off wasnât a huge issue for Eunwoo. Normally she would just go to a cafe or a book store. Looking at the youngest of the trio, she shook her head. âNo need, I have my mini album for them. Plus they prefer to have the company of people and not presents.â She smiled. Honestly most people if they met Eunwoo and her parents is that she looked like her father but had her motherâs personality. âOh, donât worry about me emptying out their pantry, they eat as much as me.â She gave the two girls a gummy grin.
a natural laugh left wrenâs lips at seriâs eagerness. she rested her head against the taller girlâs shoulder for a tender moment, giving the cameraâs one last thing to focus on but also enjoying the closeness with the other girls. wish was always so busy, and now most if not all of the girls were off doing solo ventures as well. it was nice to take a moment and just enjoy each otherâs company. small moments like this made her grateful she was in wish; the solo life seemed easier sometimes, but lonely in comparison.
âyour parents sound very different than mine. thatâs a good thing.â they were out of earshot of the cameras now, which meant she could speak honestly. her parents had always been more practical and straight-laced. things should be done per tradition, which was why she didnât really fit in anymore with her family. âthey eat as much as you? remind me never to treat your whole family to dinner. even sooyeon might not be able to afford that,â she teased, reaching over seri to pinch eunwooâs cheek. âiâm excited to meet them, though. tell them about all the terrible things their daughter has been up to.â
Duri and Taesung Release Single âThe Chance of Loveâł under name D&T
After a year for Decipher without any Korean comebacks in 2017, theyâve returned in full force so far in the first half of 2018. The group began the year with a new full-length album, and the groupâs main vocal, Duri, released a solo album shortly after. Now Duri and Taesung have joined together to promote a collaborative single. âThe Chance of Loveâ is a swing-jazz pop blend and the music video has a classy aesthetic that exemplifies the feeling the song already exudes aurally. The track was written by Duri and produced by Taesung. Duri and Taesung will be promoting the song on music shows for a month.
CLOSED STARTER †@fmdwrenâ! LOCATION †gimnyeong maze park! DATE †april 13th!
    to be quite honest, he was having fun during this current trip. there was so many interesting things happening at once with the two museums that were visited in the morning. though, he didnât really have fun with visiting manjanggul cave. he had taken one step inside of the cave, opting out from going in any further. it was somewhat dark, and knowing it was a cave almost made duri feel like the walls were closing in on him. it was ridiculous; but, he told himself that it was okay because his feelings were valid and he wasnât going to make himself go through with actually going inside. thought, he felt much better at gimnyeong maze park due to the fact that it was open air. though, he was kind of wishing star was here, so he could run around with her; but, he knows sheâs having a good time with sarang, mari, and taeri since she keeps sending him pictures of star with the two.Â
at least he was in a group with some of the people that he was close with; meaning he got to spend time with decipher, wren, hyejung, and the rest of wish. the only thing was the fact that he had to pretend that he was simply just friends with wren; simply sunbae and hoobae in these current moments. in this current moment, he was with wren inside the maze with a camera man, the three lost completely inside.  âah⊠did we just lost?â duri chuckles slightly, running a hand through his hair. âi thought i remembered when we were up on the skywalk, but i guess not,â he responded, head whipping to look around.Â
â * , + ;   â this was new to wren. her relationship with duri had entirely taken place behind closed doors. until now. wish had been around for less than three years, which, according to bc, meant wren wasnât allowed to date at all. they had been extra cautious with their relationship; any word of it getting back to her manager or higher ups at the company would probably result in a lock down of some sort for wren. which meant even less time with duri. she wanted badly to spend time with her boyfriend during the short trip, and it was usually easy to excuse his presence when hyejung was around. but right now it was just the two of them and the camera person; they had to be on their best behavior. still, wren couldnât deny that the urge to reach out and grab duriâs hand was there. it felt foreign to be standing next to him and not hold his hand.
she had taken notice when he opted out of the cave experience. all she had wanted was to rush back to him and wait with him as everyone else explored. but she couldnât. she couldnât show any bias towards him. so she would settle for this. the maze was beautiful; the perfect romantic settings. no doubt if this aired, some fans would speculate the two, but hopefully they could behave enough to not give away anything. âprobably.â she let out a sincere laugh; more sincere than her normal on-camera ones. âi donât think i could tell you which direction the skywalk is in anymore.â she turned around to look behind them, only spotting tall green hedges. âiâm sure weâll find our way out eventually. or maybe theyâll be so busy rounding up the younger ones that they wonât even notice.â her tone was teasing of course. âis this your first time in jeju, duri-oppa? i really like it here. itâs peaceful.â
Meeting Eunwooâs Parents- Eunwoo, Seri and Wren
@fmdwren, @fmdseri
Being back home in Jeju made Eunwoo so excited. It had been such a long time since she had been back to her hometown. The smell of the sea and the familiar scenery made her realize how much she actually missed being home. A favorite pastime of her popped into her head and gave her an idea. Texting her father as a question, her grin broadened as she bounced up and down at his reply.Â
âHey, is anyone interested in fishing on the sea? Iâm surprising my mom and dad, they donât know Iâm here and theyâre about to go onto their boat. Oh, you can finally meet my parents!â Her pitch became higher and her breath seemed to be out of place from speaking so quickly as Eunwoo clapped her hands together. If anything, she adored her parents and how they often came to her in Seoul. Now it was time to surprise them with some of her members.
â * , + ; Â Â â camping had felt like more of a break to wren than this jeju trip did. with cameraâs around it was never truly relaxing. she had to watch what she said, she couldnât talk freely with her members or the other idols. wren preferred to be holed up in the back of some unknown bar somewhere, drinking and complaining to jaewon and changki about life as a leader. but it was obvious to her that some of her members were overjoyed by the trip, specifically eunwoo. sheâd never want to rain on her parade, and maybe meeting the girlâs parents wouldnât be so bad. (it had to be better than hers.)
âiâd love to go fishing.â really, sheâd love to be out on the ocean. she had never been fishing, but she liked seafood. âcount me in.â wren wasnât sure if the cameras would follow, but she hoped not. it would be nice to get away from everyone and relax. she had grown up more inland, and while sheâd been to the beach, she hadnât been on a fishing boat before. âif theyâre as sweet as you, iâm sure weâll be in good company.â that wasnât an exaggeration; eunwoo was one of the better tempered of the group and wren always enjoyed spending time with her.
