Haejun Releases Debut Solo Album “boy″
Decipher’s Haejun has dropped his first solo album! The dancer debuted as the maknae of BC boy group Decipher in 2008. Shortly after celebrating his ten year anniversary as a member, Haejun has become the second member of the group to make his solo debut after group mate Duri released a solo album earlier in the year.
boy grants Haejun a sound as an artist of his own. The track list is heavy with R&B influences and modern beats with some EDM accents, showing the singer’s individual style. Haejun is largely the star of the album, save for the tracks “Lucy”, which features Unity’s Max, and “Cigarette”, which features the voices of his label mate, BEE’s Eunchae, and his former label mate, rapper Crown. Crown also appears mixed among the album’s credits, which Haejun also makes many appearances on, contributing in part to songs all over the track list.
“Woo Ah” is the album’s title track. It sits comfortably among the other R&B tracks on the album, and makes use of strong synths to spice up its atmospheric slow jam vibe. Haejun will promote the song for a month, and will also perform b-side track “One” for the first week of promotions.
