Can we just discuss the possibility of a new guild master tho?
Isn't there like 6 potential new guild masters (at least in my opinion there is) and I’m at least hoping theres finally a change in guild masters now (makarov probably really wants to retire after all thats happened in the recent ark)
Starting with Laxus tho: He’s Makarovs grandson and after his recent change of heart and priorities he’s probably a popular choice for the new guild master again.
Next we got Mirajane, who doesn’t love her. She’s loved by everyone in the guild and has been working along side Makarov for awhile now, in practicality she would be a pretty good option.
Erza tho, I recall there being a point where she could have been made guild master temporarily (my memories kinda hazy on that) But being known as the strongest female in Fairy Tail, she’s also very trusted and is pretty capable of breaking up fights. One thing I remember about Makarov is that he’s loved but also knew how to terrify people when they went out of line (which is what Erza is also completely capable of)
Natsu probably isn't one of my favorite options (even tho he’s one of my favorite characters) Natsu is the main character (obviously) and freakishly strong, which makes him also a good option. He’s also been in the guild since he was a child, he knows the meaning of the guild being a big family (Lets not forget the fact Natsu brought this guild back together!) If it wasn't for Natsu their wouldn’t be a Fairy Tail anymore.
Lets not forget this god almighty guy now. Gildarts. Known as the strongest mage in Fairy Tail, he’s not often around but is always there when really needed, also was the master for a short while (that didn’t last long) but theres a chance he’d be more willing second time round right?
Now, last but not least my personal favorite. Lucy, I personally adore Lucy. She’s brought Fairy Tail together as a family a few times already (remember her being the newbie and motivating everyone through the laxus fight at the start) Lucy has also become unbelievable strong recently - She’s been playing a huge role in keeping Fairy Tail together as a family. As much as its unlikely I honestly would Love her to become a guild master~
Anyway, this is probably very uninteresting to most. I just felt like writing about the options and possibilities for a new guild master (If it even changes) Feel free to ignore this post tho honestly. I just want to hear some other peoples opinions tbh
