Foreign Native Presents: Penny 4 Your Thoughts Ft. Luke Tailor
If Langston Hughes west coast grandson went to Howard, took a creative writing class, went to a Roots Concert, then joined the same fraternity as J Cole, Wale and Lupe Fiasco all on the same day, you’d get Luke Tailor. He is Bay Area born, Sacramento raised artist. Already earning the attention from MCs such as Talib Kweli and MC SuperNat, and comparisons to Common and Kanye West, he is this generations rendition of a poetic MC. He is a 2012 SAYS team alumni and the 2011 and 2012 Los Rios poetry Slam Champion. He has a sneaker addiction. A really, really bad sneaker addiction… and Sallie Mae Blues.
Listen to Luke Tailor at his recent radio interview.
