🌸 - The Eltingville Liminal Space AU Premise

One day while trying to get to the comic store, Bill insists on taking a potential shortcut to get them there faster. Upon entry, they realize that they cannot find their way back home. It’s colder, empty, and familiar in the worst way possible.

After realizing there are no outstanding threats beyond each other, they decide to settle down and adapt to their surroundings. Food and resources aplenty, but almost completely barren of people. Bill insists on continuing the club meetings just as before in an attempt to hold onto some kind of control. They stick together and cope with the environment, but they can only keep it together for so long.

Bill’s mental health is the first to deteriorate, growing hostile (more-so than usual. Which is really saying something here.) After an altercation between Josh and Bill, Jerry, Josh and Pete decide to start skipping the meetings, leaving Bill isolated. They stop going out of their way to find Bill or hang out with him altogether. Unbeknownst to them, Bill loses his mind, creating a monster out of him. He sees them as traitors.

(This AU is gonna take a scary turn, and is incredibly inspired by mollybredb’s old edgy mlp content)
