When your cousin wants to go to @bangbang_icecream for her birthday you go to Bang Bang ice cream for her birthday no matter how long that line up is. And you wait in line because every second spent standing on the sidewalk discussing the flavour options with strangers and inhaling the smell of waffles hot off the press - it's worth the wait. Because LOOK! The ice cream did look perfect but then I tasted it and couldn't stop eating it until it was gone. Coconut milk based pina colada ice cream (with rum in it). Because the laughter behind the scenes and the goofy faces are the beautiful raw moments in life to be cherished. Thanks to my mother I've found immense appreciation and gratitude for these moments. Spending time with Mum makes me strive to be real, genuine, goofy, honest, and selfless. But most of all, to be ME. This woman has supported me no matter what and she has allowed me to figure out who I am and just be that person. And she believes that that true person is the best person you can be. This little dancing beauty (in the middle picture with me) is 26 today!! She is a huge reason why university was AMAZING! From day 1. Love this kid so much!
