It has been a while. I am not sure where my camera eye has gone, or if it will return. Not pushing it has been a challenge, but doing so just seems to make things worse. This was one of the few scenes I have seen that called me recently, and of course, the moment I started to try and catch it, I got approached by a methed out guy who wanted to talk.

brutality and office space by Adrienne Johnson Via Flickr: All of Market St. looked like this today- geared up cops in clumps making self consciously upbeat small talk with one another, and anti-police grafitti. When I passed 30 minutes later, the same officers were there, but the grafitti was gone.

the space where one finds oneself by Adrienne Johnson Via Flickr: Driving along outside of Susanville, the moon was on my left side, and the sun exactly opposite on my right, with me and the mountains in the middle. You learn some things when you find yourself in a place like that, in the middle of all of that power.
