this is not to imply that the only way to go about this is nationalism of the tribalist sort. i'm no way saying global south countries don't have stagerring issues of misogyny and anti-feminism. it's just that, more often than not, the west likes to impose their morality onto raciliazed and colonized people and this is so pervasive down to a certain group of colonized people who like to pander to western ideals due to a variety of reasons, not least of all is capitalism. it is only sad and bitter that the global south is rarely given the grace to solve problems on their own, without the interference of previous colonizers who want nothing more than to establish neocolonialist colonies and the approval of this by traitors who would be willing to spread lies about their country and betray their own fellowmen in exchange for a place amongst the west

i'm going insane. i feel so bad for thomas, truly, but i can hardly fault julusmole when his internalized homophobia is informed by the racist household he grew up in. he and thomas could have only stood a chance if julusmole had freed himself from the shackles and beliefs he had to take up to survive a racist upbringing, but he never did until the death of thomas. and so thomas took the brunt in all of these and his death is just so unfair and this will continue to haunt julusmole
