Engaging with the Ever After High fandom: Oh my God, stop calling this fifteen-year-old girl evil because she doesn't want her society to collapse into dangerous anarchy and is afraid that her friends will literally die if they rebel, because the land's most trusted authority figure said they would as a statement of fact!
In one old version of the Apple White story she gets murdered three times: once strangled by a ribbon, once stabbed with a hairpin, once poisoned by an apple.
I wish this was a part of Apple White’s story, and her character design. I think it would have more punch than just biting an apple: make what she’s signing herself up for without realising more horrifying.

Thinking of the Sleeping Beauty prince destiny. Only chosen every 100 years, knowing if you follow your destiny you will be with someone from centuries ago with a life they yearn to go back to. The whole learning to be human again, to live again. You’re the reason they resent their life, the sleep was easier, and you have to accept it as they have every right to hate you as much as they do. You will be the first face they see and the first they hate. Growing angry and bitter yourself but knowing deep down you won’t even come close to a fraction of the pain the sleeping beauty feels.
You’ve probably seen these pictures of C.A. Cupid or other EAH characters on Tumblr or Twitter that look like they come from an artbook. Let me give you all the informations!
These images come from @zontron21 on TikTok. Their father worked at Studio GURU on the Ever After High animated series. In 2016, the studio printed this "artbook" exclusively for its employees (so it’s not something you can't buy online... unless one day a employee put it on eBay for some reason !) compiling their work on the series. (There’s even a dedication from W. Scott Forbes, the Art Director, on the cover!)
This book features mostly character models (students, teachers, and many backgrounders) in various outfits from the show, backgrounds paintings and some early sketches of character designs. Each chapter is separated by one of the beautiful illustrations that W. Scott Forbes had previously published on his portfolio site (and that I've shared there).
There is no text other than the chapter titles (Season 1 Webisodes, Character Designs, Background Paintings, etc.). So NO, you don't find out the name of some characters (and certainly not the background characters).
And to answer some comments I saw on TikTok: NO, there is certainly nothing about the crossover movie, since this is a different studio who was working on it.

Fixing Crystal Winter because Epic Winter sucks: So, I personally have two visions on how to fix Crystal,A canon-adjacent version that essentially serves as a rewrite of Epic Winter, but still considers the OG series to be canon.The other one is the version of Crystal that I would do if I were in charge of the remake of the show.
1) Canon Consistent Crystal: In this version Crystal is the daughter of the Snow Queen; The family's last name is Dronning (which is "Queen" in Danish, so nothing too strange). Similar to Cedar, Crystal is a magical offspring here. The queen had her by reanimating the corpse of an orphan. This causes Crystal to have her classic purple skin, but above all she can't stand her mother because she took her away from heaven.
In this version of Epic Winter, the Snow Queen is actually evil. and takes advantage of Daring's emotionally vulnerable state to make him grooming and make him her husband. Crystal then decides to go to EAH to contact her childhood friends Raven and Faybelle, because she was determined to dethrone her mother after seeing yet another evil deed committed. From here on, a huge party is created to go and save Daring.
The reason why I replaced Brilynn with FayVen as Crystal's childhood friends It's because like them Crystal is the daughter of an evil queen with magical powers, so realistically, they are the ones she would have played with as a child because their mothers belong to the same social circle.
2) Crystal in the PontiVerse: In this version Crystal here remains Crystal Winter but as her surname suggests, she is the daughter of Old Man Winter. As elementals, in addition to not being required to attend EAH, Crystal and her family have been passing down the secret to creating magic mirrors for years. Precisely for this reason, when the Evil Queen's war began, Milton Grimm requested that the Winters be moved from their home in Book End because he feared (rightly for once) that just as EQ was trying to take the Jabberwocky, the Winters would be his next victim. At present, his family still lives in Book End. Crystal is Meeshell and Coral's age (so still a child) and is friends with Maddie. She and her dad will come in handy later in the story when, with the return of EQ and the ensuing second war, magical allies are needed.
The alt fashion spectrum that EAH should have had, because we need a Gen2. Feel free to add your ideas and thoughts:
Raven- Romantic goth. Not trad-goth,because that's a more '80s vibe. Meanwhile Raven is victorian leaning. Yk,crows,poems,magic ecc.
Kitty and Maddie- Harajukos,so a fusion of both "kawaii" fashion,but also gothic and punkish. Maddie is also into cosplay culture. Kitty's a gamer girl.
Cerise - Punk,Riot Grrl leaning. A lot of thrift things,chains, spikes but more more stylish. Think of Bikini Kill
Poppy - Scene Kids. Bright color,emo vibes but way more fashionable. More aesthetic than political.
Ginger - Afro Decora. I think that liquorice dreadlocks suit her well. Also very bright
Ramona- Grunge. So comfortable, slouchy clothes, like combat boots, ripped jeans, and flannel shirts. She's 100% fan of David Grohl.
Sparrow - Since y'all still confuse the genres: he's not punk, he's a hard rocker. So sleazy,bold and flirty attitude; distorted guitars and falsetto, music for working-class male audience. There are studs,spikes and leather but wore it casual. More metalhead than punk.
It's not just to have a "do over" that doesn't involve the original cast, it's to cut them out of the royalties. Literally the entire point is to make sure all the money made by Harry Potter goes to transphobes or people willing to work with transphobes.
If you watch it, you are supporting bigotry, hate, and oppression. That's just objective reality. All for a story that you probably have already seen in movie and book form.
#the last point is especially true since the old cast receives royalties for anything with their likeness on it#meaning the original trio still gets money for every mug with their 14 year old faces on it#if they stop making those and replace them with the new cast which they will the old cast gets cut off completely#which is again exactly what rowling wants because she cannot stand those 'ungrateful brats' as she would likely put it#and as she has last say in anything that gets made in harry potter paraphernalia this might also explain the decrease in faces on products
Likewise, the new all-star audio books featuring people like Keira Knightley, Riz Ahmed, Michelle Gomez, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and more, only seem to have happened because Stephen Fry - who did all the original audio books - said he thought she radicalised and "was a lost cause" (x)
